Yeah it did drift slightly before the off and during the race as novice chasers often do but it won readily enough. Just getting started on tomorrow's cards, have one or two eyed up. |

The points are based on both value and confidence I.quit. It's a staking plan I am most confident in and that's very important (in my opinion). I have studied staking plans quite a bit. I took a great interest in the Kelly Criterion, but find it very difficult to use with a large field of possibilities such as racing. The bottom line of any staking plan is basically to try and get as much money on each selection as possible without ever going broke (of course you do need to be showing a level stakes profit). I think a simple points system can be very useful and it suits me. A scale of 1-4pts is what I find most comfortable (on each-way bets I may stake 3 pts e/w). The monetary value of a point increases as the bank grows but the points system will never change. (Hope that explained something and is not just waffle!) :) |
