stays in same place in the queue, its only if you completely cancel and then submit a new bet of £100 or change the odds, that you go to back of the queue

Grand dad if you need to be matched back or lay .. Top the market // you will be on ..... i do it every bet . but you got to know whats what .... tip the wink

Thanks guys.Here is what Customer Services have now said in an email: "If you amend the stake in any way your position within the queue will be reset. This is to prevent users from putting up a low stake of 2GBP for example and then queue jumping by altering it to 2000GBP. Any changes to your bet request puts it at the back of the queue for matching." That just didn't look logical to me; in their example, surely the £2 stays in its original position in the queue and £1998 joins at the back of the queue. Have I got that right?

always thought the original was kept in queue and alteration didnt. Thats why you get 2 bets when increasing the amount

Yes and yes.

If the update produces a new bet reference that portion of the bet will go to the back of the queue as would any new bet, if you reduce the stake the bet reference will stay the same and mantain it's position in the queue
