I think they have a few promotion landing pages Feck depending on links you've clicked to get there. For the page
http://www.skybet.com/skybet?action=GoStatic&name=bet_promotions&play_temp=1&title=Promotions which is the link you go from the main skybet site the earliest cache I could find was 20 Feb 2010 22:20:52 GMT which like you say is after you entered but if you were to hit the promotion via a £20 Free Matched Bet link http://www.skybet.com/skybet?action=GoStatic&name=20freematchedbet365&play_temp=1&title=Promotions&aff=749&BZ_Nav the same promotion is there and does mention sports at least from 20 Feb 2010 01:53:57 GMT before you posted. Obviously it's possible they'd may have omitted the sports stipulation on the main promotion page but probably unlikley as these pages with just be generated by a script and use the same promo text for all promotion pages. |

OK, thanks Joe. I'm still sure I checked before applying and I still think it looks a bit suspicious that the link itself contains the opening wording of the promotion doesn't contain the word 'sports' but I'll let it go anyway. It was the thought they got a ton off me they wouldn't otherwise have got rather than not getting the sky sports that was bugging me. I would probably have only used it on 3 or 4 occassions a year and, thinking about it, I could get my mates password anyway as he doesn't use it.

Feck the link doesn't include sports because thats how I searched. I tried searching without sports to see if I could find a version without it so the link is just to googles cache search rather than anything incriminating .
When I looked on 20th after the original post sometime in the afternoon I'm sure it mentioned sports. I only posted again on the 27th cos I thought I may missed something |

I also went for this on the 20.2.10 and as yet no Username and password, just emailed them to ask for it.

When did you apply Arch? I got my password 11 days ago and it's still working OK but I applied 3 weeks ago when I think they made a balls up of the offer. They've changed the wording since from 'sky subscriber' to 'sky sports subscriber' which, as ActiveX suggests, makes the offer fairly pointless.

If you cancel your main skysports sub...how would they know that your still watchin online..your betting id is only linked to sky bet account nothing else. I applied my sky bet account online |

It's sky that issue the password to skybet so I assume they'd know that the sky account linked to the password had cancelled sports.

yes but i dont have muti room and the sky player is in HD...thats why i got it, mult room would of cost me a tenner a month.

I know we're nearly 2 years on but did anyone get cut off. A couple of weeks back I found I could only access SS1 & 2. Complained and they now say the offer has expired whereas it definitely said in the t & c's that it lasted for the duration of the skybet account. I'm still getting 1 & 2 though.
