Betfair seemed to have decided to kill old threads with being stamped throughout it.
Gubbed was a useful way of researching the forum archives. In some cases, rampers and game players would be uncovered (consistant circles of two or three forumites who would hype a horse race or event to get the odds to move on a trade in their favour, etc).
Also useful for bringing up threads that had sites, research, formulas and advice.
My tech received a copy and is already putting together the program to clean out the 's.
There was nothing to hide, betfair. Nothing gained by you as a company injecting 's.
SHAPESHIFTER on a similar but different vain - they have 'dropped' the HR forum history from 2009 + older for some strange reason, and therefore your points still aptly apply to that

Yep, lives in the north corner of Ontario on a bird sanctuary. Has a satellite dish to get his internet feed. Has contracts with people but too much time on his hands.
I give him sites. He builds excels that reads and formats for me. He's addicted to challenges.
