Does the level of sp staking (back/lay) on a particular selection have any bearing on the sp? Or is that determined purely by the state of the pre-inplay market at the time of the off.
if a horse is , say 3.5 just before the off and the horse goes off in front stealing many lengths the bsp will be alot lower due to the track people seeing it 2 secs before us it'll probably go off under 3

ZEALOT, when you say "the track", do you mean the point of the "off" or the point that the SP is determined.
When betfair suspend and go into transition to inplay, the SP is calculated at the point of SUSPENSION which is at the exact moment of the "actual" off.
