General Betting Christmas drinks / dinner
This must be the 4th year I think.... but time again for the annual get together of this forum, so I am actually going to propose a Saturday evening this year, and a specific one rather than the usual attempt to fins a date that suits everyone.
Naturally I will arrange it for ANY night Feck can make it...
But I am proposing Saturday 21st November.
(Maybe some of us will even go racing during the day)
Let me know if interested because depending on numbers, might find a new venue or be boring and go to OXO tower again.
I also think we should arrange somewhere to go after so Bayes, Muqbil and GOM, dont end up in some grunge bar in waterloo (unless you guys liked it)
So I suggest.... for after..
a) Casino
b) Club
c) Bar
So post up if you can make it.

I hope pumpkinslayer is going to be there, if so I will start practising my blindfold chess and we could have a game during the meal, although I suspect it would be a swift end! Come on pumpkin, add you name.... I think Dr Who is banned too, maybe someone can pass on the details of the meet? The 21st is perfect for me, only date that's totally impossible is 5th Dec :( Couldn't Bayes do an awol for one night? My misus wouldn't even notice if I was gone for a few hours on Satruday night during xfactor... |
