entirely upto you Carson, you lay at different odds, some low and some closer to 6.0.
Laying to an equal red would/ should keep your liabilities down. How much red would you be thinking of laying too? You could stake like Maria,ie, between 2.0- 3.2 lay to 2% of your bank between 3.3- 4.5 lay to 3% of your bank between 4.6- 6.0 lay to 4% of your bank between 6.0- 8.0 lay to 5% of your bank etc etc |

TOTGA, Probably be £400 or £500. During the 2nd half of last season did quite a lot of footy lays in a joint account with a mate. We were laying at £250 green & only started with £2k!! We easily had our money back & some profit, but eventually went bust. He is a proper "Poo or Bust" gambler and eventually our over staking meant we went bust when 3 Bundesliga games went against us in 1 night in early May. I am trying to find what will work best for me. With starting at £6k, if I get the start that my paper trail has had then laying at £500 red would be fine, but will I get that start??!!

what i aim to do is try to be selective where possible..eg altho portsmouth were an outrageous price at arsenal u just knew they wouldnt win so the lay wouldve been worth it, mind u i suppose u couldve said that about man city at barca etc..yeah i was only a friendly i know so wouldnt have qualified but i just think certain teams crop up u cant see winning...after all this dundee utd will prob lose now

Fatboy, TOTGA is correct, The A series of bets is a seperate series for anything over 6.0. I basically decided to do this after the Burnley v Man U disaster. It s really just for my own reference to keep a track of my success at the higher odds. So in summary any lay above odds of 6.0 after bet 51 (Burnley v Man U) will not be included in the main bets, but a seperate series.
Tony, well done on yours also. I will be watching your higher price lays with interest. Maybe I am just paranoid with them after taking a bullet on the 1st one. |

Hi Carson. I have been doing this since end of July but with higher parameters. I generally do not lay teams playing at home and my lays are generally over the 6 more often closer to 12.
Obviously a much higher strike rate is required. To date I have had two major setbacks being a lay of Liverpool v Villa and a stupid lay in a Brazilian Division Two game which was really a bet for bets sake. My figures are as follows: August 09 - Laying Teams to 10% of Bank High- do not reduce liability after a loss Bank 1297.16 Net Withdrawals Nil Profit 297.16 Next Bet Liability: 140 Bets Pending: My lays last night were Pompey and Athletico Goainese. Welcome aboard Sligo, the more the merrier. Good Luck with your future lays. I am presuming your Anfield disaster was actually a lay of Villa though?? Interested to see how you fair with the higher price stuff as it is an area that I am debating over how involved I shall get. As for the bet for bets sake, it really is the scourge of all us Betting God Wannabes, I really think posting my selections on here prior to the game is helping me reduce these such bets.
