Spain's most unconvincing & uncomfortable match of the tourney was against Uruguay, who were very aggressive against them out of possession and managed to disrupt and ultimately stop them getting into any type of passing rhythm. Spain had a proper whinge about the typical rough SouthAmerican behaviours The only chance I give the Argies here of sticking with them is implementing that type of approach. Uruguay proved to be pretty toothless when it came to hurting Spain, but Argies got much better tools.

The classic head over heart situation. I need Spain to lift the trophy for a tidy profit..and my HEAD says they will. But my HEART wants the Argies to lift it again..so I can't really lose. Hoping most of all we get a fitting finale to what has been an EXCELLENT tournament.

Think Spain should be odds on in normal time, they will have all the ball, if you think Argentina will lift the trophy you think that their niggly play designed to break up the Spanish rhythm will be enough to hold out Spain through a potential two hours and then have a 50-50 shot of winning the penalty shoot-out.

I don't think that will happen and think that it is more likely than not that Spain will score in normal time and the game will be over from that point as Spain, unlike England will play with Argentina and be able to pick them off from then on IMO

the next world cup is in spain and portugal so they would love to stage that as holders.....they need the france and Austria game performance as the cape verde, uraguay and portugal performace wont be good enough....for me they are far too short in the betting especially it must also be said the semi final is hard to work out as France were so poor...
