That was fantastic, they were out on their legs, suddenly Messi was firing the passes in, great game. Pleased for Messi and happy for Mo Salah
. Nothing personal MO, just can stand the fraud I believe you are. At least with Ronny he admits it. |

if ronaldo played like messi did today , they would be slagging him off etc etc, messi was rubbish , eveb though scored, actually argies were very poor, should have been 3-0 down

I wager Ronaldo is crying.

The stupid shirt pull by Egypt that cancelled the "second" goal was crucial. They could have been 3 up which would have really tested Argentina. And by the way I don't have any bets on the World Cup. The action continues with England Cricket finishing on 201 in 20/20 against India. It really has been a feast of sport in the last week.

If fifa argue the usa red case that it was accidental stepped on so no ban then that applies to the zico goal 'foul' so that should stand. If that is disallowed how can it possibly be argued that the 3rd Arg should stand - it cannot be more identical? Fifa and Trump have fuuuucked football as this is going to end up in court and it will become ungovernable.

Argentina's goal shouldn't have counted. Corrupt FIFA rule again. Let's just hope they want England to win!

No VAR required for the India wickets so far. 4 down in 5 overs. Good game.

Wow.

5 wickets in 5 now but they are ahead in runs per over.

Great first over of spin. Just 2 runs.

Been watching the foul on repeat, for one the greatest goals in a world cup.
First of all from the tug on the player then fell forward clutching his ankle, there was a grab on the shirt, no doubt but gravity did not agree. Hard to weigh up but in the old days that would have been a goal and we would had celebrated and Egypt may had still lost. So today we have every option for the chosen teams to challange via var and sometimes i do not trust the var with there graphics. Mo Salah diving at the end summed him up in his late brilliant career. |

The disallowed goal wasn't crucial. It was correctly disallowed. Nothing to say they would have gone 3-0, much more likely they would have had longer to hang on at 2-0. Goalkeeper not saving either of the first two goals was the crucial factor in the defeat. That in combination with the defence in general falling apart.

I don't suppose the reigning T20 World Champions are too bothered about losing a few tin pot games over here
