The hand ball cheat…..he is tainted to be considered GOAT…..

Kane's penalty against Mexico was as good as it gets, GK would have saved it if it wasn't right in the corner.

gwan Argies, go to seven2foe; me's almosddte #green thenne
![]() ![]() .... hon Egypt ! :) |
By:
Liverpool lucky that Salah is going, when he signed the new contract his playing went off the boil for the rest of the season, not much better in season just gone. He has his moments though.
By:
Overs is completely doomed here. Argies are a very poor team.

just winded

messi should not be allowed anywhere near a penalty spot for argentina. those stats are absolutely terrible. absolutely anybody who plays football at any level would expect to score half the penalties they take if not more. at this level fifty percent scored is nowhere near good enough and with that missed penalty from messi, egypt have a real chance now. they wont look for a second so its a case of can they hold out and on the basis they are far better than cape verde they should have every chance
By:
Messi has missed 34 penalties out of 150 taken in his career.
By comparison, Kane has missed 14 out of 123, Ronaldo 36 out of 213. |

Argies exposed for what they are

I get that Winja.
It broke my heart at the time. Then the other goal in that game, one of, if not the best of all time. But look at all the cheating players do now, diving, rolling around like they have been shot etc. Would any player these days not do that given the opportunity in such a big game? Remember watching it live thinking, how the heck has he won that header? So he disguised it unbelievably well. |

correction - 36 out of 219 for Ronnie.

By:
Same again 2nd half Egypt,,,,my fiver rides on it,,,,
By:
if those stats dont say i should not be taking penalties dixie im not sure what does
By:
Le Tissier scored 48 from 49 penalties, none of the pens taken were like these stuttering run up mugs
By:
le tiss was the boss from the spot
By:
Salah is useless. Brushed off it by the slightest contact. Thst's not down to age, he's like a woman playing
By:
He didn't look happy taking the pen , why take it ?
By:
Messi and Ronaldo are past their best as is inevitable. Still know how to play but their bodies don't obey their brain. The new teams on the block don't have the baggage of the waning stars. Salah has not done much either but Egypt have some good young players.

By:
He purposely cheated and lied to the ref who was a clown and then had the audacity to say it was the hand of god which unbelievably the world adopted to cover the cheat……..the second goal was after Englands mind set was corrupted by the sheer unfairness of the situation…..for me the cheat is easily forgotten in a world where true professionals set the examples….

By:
COME ON EGYPT
![]() |
By:
^ not to mention the pattern of play would have been different if he hadn't of cheated, so the second goal would never have happened without the first cheating goal anyway.
By:
It was 40 years ago - get over it
By:
I get it Winja and i agree, it was blatant cheating.
Still for me doesn't take away the ability he had. Imagine him on these perfect pitches without players able to hack him down like they did, sometimes without even a yellow, for what is now a blatant red. |
By:
It was the Hand of God because nobody believes he's a proddie.
By:
Tina has had four cast iron chances in the first half and are playing some nice passes in the final third…..looks a matter of time to me but they are losing the look of a World Cup winning team….
By:
Lay of the Falkland losers for me, why are they shorter than draw/away?
By:
fair playe to Kane thenne!! misses less'n one fromme eight!.... thatte's pretty fkn good shootin' :)
By:
I'm up on Egypt and the draw? Should I trade more?
By:
The other day Ronaldo came into the tunnel early and gave all the kids a high five both sides and harland saw the kid was so exciting to see a giant he picked him up…..in a non-noncy way…..and gave him a cuddle….I prefer those images to the cheating dwarf……

9.2 on the Outright, but I wouldn't back them, nor Spain. France all the way.
By:
well offside
By:
i think spain OR is a good bet
By:
almost hit his arm, there
By:
What amazes me about the South Americans is that they will do anything to win a game, all the dark arts you can think of, they'd sell their own grannies down the river just to get goal or a pen or the slightest of advantage.
Then in sync, their all shamelessly doing the sign of the cross straight after the game whilst looking up to the heavens ![]() |
By:
I got some Spain at 8.2 as insurance, but they won't win it.
By:
not going to score from there.
By:
Come on egypt my Colombia bet will be looking alot better

By:
McC like a lot of these fools, ooooh Betty I would like another look at that, oh ok it was a foul.
