Here's an example, if you were an Argentinian referee in the England v Congo game, knowing full well England stand a good chance of meeting Argentina in the semi's, you're not going to give them any decisions are you, plenty of fouls against, yellows, disallowed goals etc. You'd want the weaker side to go through.
Yet this Moroccan ref is allowed to ref a German game even though they could face them in 2 games time. |

VAR has never been for clear and obvious decisions. if it was it would only take 10 secs to make the decision and communicate it to the referee

Plus, has anyone seen an instance where VAR have suggested to the ref to have a look at the replays...and he's said, No I'll stick with my original decision...? I've never seen it, every time they overturn it, it's like the VAR people are superior to the ref
