Actually let's do over 5.5 & 6.5 for an interest as Panama seemed quite adventurous in the 1st game

Yeah, these early hours games with obscure countries must have the lowest TV ratings in WC history. Jordan v Algeria at 3AM probably set the record.

I find that hard to believe!

The NFL crushes everything else in US TV ratings, not just other sports but any drama, comedy shows too.

Ok, I got on overs at 2.2. Hopefully better than that absolute dross that was served up earlier. Cool

Looking it up seems the USA v Paraguay game got 18M viewers, which is higher than the average for NFLs Monday Night Football, though a few million lower than the Sunday night game.

So that's pretty impressive. Be interesting to see whether that number can grow much in the knockout rounds. NFL playoff games get 40M+.

My interest bet dead on arrival.

Panama have all this energy and ambition, but woeful lack of quality when they get near opponent's goal.

Croatia probably win 1-0

A standard premier league game does not get 750M viewers

Probably max 6M in Britain so where are all the other viewers?

Although I read the last City v Arsenal game had over 800 millions viewers
By:

Doubt it would be that high, probably about 120M in Europe and it's in a poor timezone for Asia/Americas

800m lol. Laugh  Maybe 80 million. Anyway, this game is another scoreless bore. 13 mins without a goal in this group today.

I can't believe that say, 20% of the population of China are watching City v Arsenal at 1am.

And if they aren't then where do these viewers come from?

Maybe if you add up everyone who saw a clip of the goals on YouTube you could boost it into hundreds of millions.

Panama's athleticism cancels out Croatia's techincal superiority. If they are beaten by a pass they can sprint back to cover.

good shout tobermory. positive discrimination gone mad. an all male pundit line up for a female match would probably be met with riots

Shearer and Mowbray saying Panama will play exactly the same as Ghana.

Obviously didn't see the Panama v Ghana game where Panama went all out and Qurioz parked the bus. Panama are an attacking team, just not very good at it.

no problem at all with whatever form a pundit line up takes, just seems a bit rich to talk about mens pundits invading the womens game and now we have this mens match where its all women pundits. it makes no difference what the make up is, but if its made an issue that it should be women pundits in the womens game then surely that means it should be men in the mens
