Surely everyone turned off by now

Actually let's do over 5.5 & 6.5 for an interest as Panama seemed quite adventurous in the 1st game
By:
i heard on tv yesterday the figures for wc viewing are up yhere with the NFL, in north america
By:
I cant believe i was mug enough to back over in the england game when ive seen englands lack luster performances 10000000x
By:
I find that hard to believe!
The NFL crushes everything else in US TV ratings, not just other sports but any drama, comedy shows too. |
By:
Ok, I got on overs at 2.2. Hopefully better than that absolute dross that was served up earlier.

Looking it up seems the USA v Paraguay game got 18M viewers, which is higher than the average for NFLs Monday Night Football, though a few million lower than the Sunday night game.
So that's pretty impressive. Be interesting to see whether that number can grow much in the knockout rounds. NFL playoff games get 40M+. |

My interest bet dead on arrival.
Panama have all this energy and ambition, but woeful lack of quality when they get near opponent's goal. Croatia probably win 1-0 |
By:
Better than our game so far.
By:
Goal incoming any minute now. Brace for impact..

really?

By:
A standard premier league game does not get 750M viewers
Probably max 6M in Britain so where are all the other viewers? |
By:
Standard Champions League final that was meant to say
By:
how the mighty have fallen. england gave panama the full treatment not but eight years ago and here they are now going toe to toe with a team with the pedigree of croatia
By:
Although I read the last City v Arsenal game had over 800 millions viewers
By:
Doubt it would be that high, probably about 120M in Europe and it's in a poor timezone for Asia/Americas
By:
800m lol.
Maybe 80 million. Anyway, this game is another scoreless bore. 13 mins without a goal in this group today. |
By:
135+ mins.*
By:
I can't believe that say, 20% of the population of China are watching City v Arsenal at 1am.
And if they aren't then where do these viewers come from? Maybe if you add up everyone who saw a clip of the goals on YouTube you could boost it into hundreds of millions. |
By:
Panama's athleticism cancels out Croatia's techincal superiority. If they are beaten by a pass they can sprint back to cover.
By:
0 corners?
By:
Real Madrid v Liverpool final was widely reported to be over 700 mil
Massive viewership in Africa and South America |

Is this the first All Women pundits line up?
Would there ever be 3 blokes for a women's game? |
By:
lol no
By:
good shout tobermory. positive discrimination gone mad. an all male pundit line up for a female match would probably be met with riots
By:
no problem with equality at all but if its right theres never been all men covering a womens match and now theres all women covering a mans thats not right
By:
all women covering men fine, all men covering women fine.
By:
Hoping for another 0-0
By:
As long as they talk sense, don't see a problem.
By:
Shearer and Mowbray saying Panama will play exactly the same as Ghana.
Obviously didn't see the Panama v Ghana game where Panama went all out and Qurioz parked the bus. Panama are an attacking team, just not very good at it. |
By:
no problem at all with whatever form a pundit line up takes, just seems a bit rich to talk about mens pundits invading the womens game and now we have this mens match where its all women pundits. it makes no difference what the make up is, but if its made an issue that it should be women pundits in the womens game then surely that means it should be men in the mens
By:
Croatia 1-0
By:
Beautiful cross
By:
Do reckon the game deserved a goal.
By:
Eni Aluko said Ian Wright should not have been used as a pundits in a women's game.
By:
How the hell do you not score from that
