She literally said it had to be looked it, whether that resulted in a pen is another thing, but still looked a pen in full flow, this ref has let a lot go including a couple of Scotland players being bashed in the face.

yep, a lot of corners ruled as goal kicks, and a few the other way around. The officiating has been pretty bad, overall.

The saddest thing is when Scotland had 2 or 3 players forward and played it up there, it looked like they might make something happen.

penzance, that's unfortunately how many managers set up their teams. Far too NEGATIVE. Clarke has always been one of the worst. Can never be disappointed when any and every side that plays in this manner, end up with zilch at the end of the 90mins, only 5-10 of which they choose to commit players and at least test their opponents defensively.

Every time Scotland played it forward it was a bounce pass backwards. Dykes should have started, they have no other player against 2 PL CHs, get men around him for the 2nd ball. Think it was a pen against McT. You don't need much from that position. The challenge was made to impede and it did, not to play the ball.

Morocco looked good for 45 minutes against Brazil, and 35 minutes tonight, they don't look good enough to reach the semi-finals this time. In '98 a supposedly weaker Morocco team put Scots to the sword. They never looked like scoring 2 tonight, never mind 3.

TBH If scotland not involved most would have packed up watching 10 mins after half time , dreadful game until Scotland came to a Bit of Life late on they could nick a point against Brazil , If they dont and still qualify is Farcical , a Goal against Haiti  |

Morocco beat Spain on pens after 0-0 and Portugal 1-0. Defended for their lives most of both games. Look at AFCON, every game is 0-0 or 1-0. You're not going from that to a WC against better sides looking to win 2 or 3 nil. It's ingrained in you.

When Lewis Ferguson just gave that interview, twice when he said "Scotland grew into the game" - on both occasions he instantly started stroking and scratching the side and back of his head, body language experts will tell you that means he feels very uncomfortable about what he is saying, i.e. he doesn't believe what he is saying.
You watch any interview, pre match, post match, from any players and manager and they do exactly the same thing, the amount of times you'll start noticing players stroking their faces every time they come out with that old cobblers "I thought we playh3d well", you don't know they're lying when their lips move, you know they're lying when their hands move across their faces or bonce to pretend itch or scratch themselves. A gameplan of Doak crossing into Dykes and getting players around Dykes after long balls up to him would have worked a lot better. WTF was Che Adams going to do? No pace, touch or aerial ability.
