For worst bets one bookie offering a world cup special over 0.5 goals in each match , 33/1 , and i bet they get some takers , 104 matches and not a single 0-0 for 33/1

terrible bet strawman. especially as there will be multiple 0-0 matches
By:

When: 29 May 26 21:52
there will be 0-0 matches because of the heat and humidity and there will be 0-0 matches for convenience at the end of the group stages

If 0-0 is about 12/1...  (roll 2 dice get 11 or over  = 0-0)

Is about 6000/1 for 100 games

Saudi to finish bottom of their group 7/4+

been a big move for Cape Verde to beat them in the group match over last few days and CPV likely to go off favs against them, and therefore the 'to finish bottom' market looks completely wrong

I've backed France to win the world cup outright a while ago when they looked a bit of value (not so much now), as a follow up I think Mbappe is a fair bet for the golden ball at generally 10/1

He won the the young player award in 2018, silver ball last time and now arrives here at possibly his peak age, I'm confident he'll have another good world cup and double figures is fair

He seems to be over his hamstring injury in April and it wont take much for that price to quickly shorten during the tournamentWink

mbapp would be a great bet at 1o,s ,that,s why its a figment of your imagination,he,s 7,4 on betfair, generally 11 to 2 besr and only 10,s for France to win tourney and mbappe to win golden boot,
but yeh

backed France at last Euros and didnt lift a leg especially Mbappe ( not sure whether Le Pens comments at time had something to do with it ) so going to see how start before contemplating getting mucked in. Otherwise Spain for me at the moment.

Tesco are giving panini sticker albums free at checkout.  Not suggesting you should start collecting but the empty album has all the dates, times , charts , stats, team details etc.

Who takes penalties for Spain and France.? I feel this will have a bearing on the golden boot.  Obviously it is Kane for England, but I am not sure of the other two.

Best bet is "no bet".
Best left well alone imo.
And as for stats:
Just looking at our lot, and I'm not criticising,
what bearing could stats possibly have on England's chances ?

Just unplug your computer, take it round to your neighbour's house for safe keeping, get some help with  the withdrawal symptoms, try not to think about it, and set a wake-up call for the final, then put your feet up, bust a tinnie or three, and enjoy.

Could look into one of those "crisis centers" I suppose.
Reckon we all need to talk to somebody some of the time.

Don't think I need a crisis centre for my £5 stake . I dont drink so not buying the two tinnies leaves me in profit

Chat GPT says:

A particularly interesting angle is that Croatia, Morocco, Japan and Uruguay have all demonstrated they can beat elite nations in knockout football, which is usually the key hurdle between a respectable run and a genuine shock semi-final appearance.

My 4 to outperform their odds are Scotland (if Clarke takes the handbrake off this time), Japan, Morocco and Turkey.

My post before. Just checked with Ladbrokes same company. 9/1 for under 7 own goals. mistake there. Invested.

Can't see Portugal doing too well, they argue all the time.

Scotland are unlucky to play the so called minnows in the group 1st,you are better of playing them after other teams hove burst their bubble and softened them up with goal difference in mind for 3rd place. I think Morocco are a good bet to beat Scotland inside 90 minutes on June 19th at a touch over evens. I have backed Spain outright. Good luck with your bets and I hope we all enjoy the tournament.

Scotland also disadvantaged at being in an early group , which is why i have always been against the idea of best 3rd place finishers , the teams in the later groups in 3rd place will know what they need .
