If someone offers a 20% profit there is always going to be people who take maximum advantage. About 10 years ago they had a coupon called "beat the clock". Picking the games with the highest goal expectation had a similar 20% profit margin. I used to travel to Manchester,placed bets in about 10 shops in the suburbs before catching the tram to the center and another 6 shops. Maybe £5k in turnover for the day. Knew it wouldn't last long because a number of shop managers told me that I was the only one using that coupon. |

Anyone else have any trouble getting the £200 on.
I was told by one manager that I could only back one of them and when pressed he said that he could refuse any bet he wanted. People at or near the top at Betfred decide what promotions to offer only to be overruled by someone at the bottom. Left and placed bets at another shop no problem. |

spicedeggs--You seem to have jumped to a number of incorrect assumptions.The nearest Betfred to my house is 4 miles and the next is 10 miles in the
opposite direction. I was late joining the party--left it alone till Flemestar provided advance notice of the games but had informed other people about the promotion. I only used the shop 4 miles away to always back both teams.Didn't think it was worth the bother of any further travel to place more bets. That was until last week when I was shopping in a city center and came across a Betfred shop. To save a few miles I planned to place bets there and collect at usual shop but was refused. Betfred must have lost money today - with Harland scoring a hat trick.
They also had Harland on super boost to score or assits at evens. Another boost was over 2.5 goals in all the three FAC matches - which came in too @ 9/4 |

Did this bet yesterday on City in my local shop
Was gonna do City minus 1 or 2 on the handicap but then the studio TV duo were promoting this offer, looked like a safer option to increase the match odds Anyway, staff told me just to use the usual match coupon, where City had gone from 8/11 to 4/6, but still...bit concerned that earlier on this thread someone said not to use the shop coupon, just an ordinary slip? Either way, I'll make sure I get my 2/1 Baldy shop boosts and bonuses on the horses on the horses not as good as they used to be, but this football offer seems decent...let's hope he keeps it going throughout the World Cup...might do every game? |
