To all you Dad's out there getting your boys out everyday kicking a ball about in the far fetched desperate dream that he could become a professional footballer, well I've got two words for you to remember and should mean that you should never ever give up on that dream no matter how unlikely that it might seem that your boy has the skills to ascend to that highest of dreamlands.

Well that was a pleasing result after just one win for the toffees at OT in 32 years.
Hardly expected to win it in such circumstances of course, christ knows why you would start fighting your own team mate especially so early in the game. Gana was very silly, totally out of character for him but if anything it seemed to spur the remaining ten men on. He has apologised to his team mates apparently and rightly so, we won't see him in an EFC shirt for a while as after his suspension he will be off to play in the Africa competition. An excellent defensive display albeit against a clueless Utd side who could have gone 4th or 5th with a win tonight, shows the lack of real quality in the EPL imo. An added bonus is being above our neighbours in the table. stop the season now  |
