no penalty, the referee had an awful lot of problems to solve. Player was through on goal, the foul looked unintentional. It did look a penalty, however the ball was running slightly towards the goal line and Arsenal player would of had to turn to score/ Had he given the penalty, the keeper had to be sent off. That decision could of gone either way. The Newcastle goal just scored, no doubt was a fair goal.

had a feeling it wouldn't be our day, whenever we've been going for the title and the rare occasion Liverpool or City drop points before we play, we end up dropping points as well, not to mention Howe always seems to out coach Arteta.

Woltemade seems to argue a lot with officials, needs to reign it in a bit.

Gordon falling into the same trap as Bale thinking that a hair band makes him look like Beckham and Grealish. Gordon going to have to rely solely on his bank balance to net him f@nny.

Must say, I hate players who commit sneaky fouls or unsportsmanlike behaviour then conspicuously demand a handshake in front of the ref, making out they're innocent.

Is it more Arsenal aren't yet used to playing with a centre forward?

I think some of the Arsenal midfielders don't rate him so he looks isolated at times.

GTFI CoolCoolCool

We were the better team in terms of possession, shots on goal, shots on target, 200+ more passes, goal expectancy (0.5 v 2.01) and big chances created.

Nothing lucky about it, though not many teams will get anything there.

Kind Regards.

Newcastle have already lost three home games and it's only September.

Who needs Eddie Nketuah?

I have always said Merino is a natural centre forwardBlushWink

Pretty one dimensional at times from Arsenal

inevitable that. Extremely poor 2nd half. No effort to push out and get the ball up the pitch. Parked the bus and got what was deserved.

Woltemade looks good but ffs he looks boloxed after a single half ffs

One thing that stands out to me is how little Newcastle switch flanks further up the pitch. There was a point today where Livramento was screaming for ball to be switched. He was in acres of space and Joelinton just played it down the flank and lost the ball.
