After Dubravka fell foul of the 8-second rule today, I'm not sure I like the rule of a corner. A corner is a corner when the ball goes over the line, last touched by a defending player. That's the rules, that's how football was created and a corner should not be given otherwise. A free-kick yes, but not a corner for me.

Refs would not award free kick so time wasting went unpunished Corner is a hybrid sort of sanction Possibly if it works then no corners are awarded and game flows better |

like a lot of crap sides United generally do better the less they have the ball.

Cucurella still the nastiest player in the Premier League. Great that his foul led to a Palace goal but he was also complicit in getting it turned over! He shoved the Palace player who in turn shoved a Chelsea one. Classic Italian cheating.
