yes, and if he gets 20 again this year or equitable assists he'll be worth 80m+...
By:
In no way would I view sofascore valuations as very meaningful but as you peaked my curiosity...
Mbuemo 53m Isak 124m |
By:
He’ll be worth £100 million if he can score. 20 goals for United

By:
he'll be a miracle worker..
By:
WD, I know youre being sarky, but that's what I thought anyway...20 goals!!!! blimey

By:
or equitable assists

Mbueno scored 15 last season from xg of 7.5 (not including pens)
If he maintains anywhere near that he's flying, and total bargain. |
By:
and if he doesn't ..he probably isn't..

Cheap risk for right wing forward
Linked up well with wissa |
By:
not cheap..above market value and playing in a totally different dynamic..
Brentford get a lot of space on the counter both home and away and also play more direct..even last season when Utd were ****é they often had to make the running in games essentially (or felt they had to)..it's a lot less space (something I know duffy likes to remind how easy it is to defend deep with men behind the ball).. the weird thing is essentially I have to keep down playing someone I definitely think is a decent player.. |
By:
Quite brentford...it's going to be awkward for you now this season not wanting him to do well
![]() |
By:
![]() trust me I'll be delighted if he has a 71m pound couple of seasons ahead.. just need to remind of those you've written off in the current squad.. ![]() |
By:
Always the chance a player goes off after a transfer
but he seems clever enough to take the step up and possibly even improve for it. |
By:
I was not being sarky!
Also they would get the £100 if they were relegated! ![]() |
By:
brentford, any criticism I have previously adopted of United was within the fact that we have just signed ordinary players for years, consequently we have seen what we've seen. You sprinkle a few pieces of quality in amongst it for a change and suddenly the ordinary parts look better as pressure is alleviated, said before, improvement or otherwise is not linear IMO and that is what I expect to see this season, ordinary players looking far more competant it a more successful side.
By:
ordinary but 3rd in the league in 2022-2023 so not so ordinary.. and players like Sanchez,Pogba,Mata all came with great pedigree and didn't really do it..
half the squad injured in 2023-24..still 8th.. what's par this year ..6th or 7th minimum... |
By:
We'll finish top 6, this is what I was saying a month or so back on the United thread, top 6 isn't "good" but people are wedded to 15th and called me mad, (which might but true but that's another story) and think that is real, it's not, a moderate improvement will get to 6th.
By:
Get off to a good start and top 6 is still there
if forest got close. If team is engaged all 38 games then why not top 4 without euro distractions. |
By:
I'm certainly not wedded to 15th ..that would be mental..Ten Hag was 11th when sacked..
if Amorim doesn't get them genuinely competing top 8 by Christmas and in touch with Europa league spots he simply has no future in this day and age..a full pre season and and over 130m spent to this point.. early signs are that cutting out some cancer has helped, his own shocking experience of the PL and therfore adapting his outlook and the 'sharp minds' in situ and on the same page now but we all know nothing is known for a while yet.. |
By:
Sorry if I am enjoying this.
We have been without a centre forward for so long I forgot others had bigger problems not saying Arsenal have conducted themselves in glory either just glad we are not Totteringham or United![]() |
By:
Yeah. If you were either you’d have a trophy to polish.

Very good that Honcho

It strikes me Isak's agent is a canny lad. Milking a modicum of talent for £140m plus. Having said that Liverpool were dumb enough to spend a fortune on a flop like Nunez so who's to say they won't dig deep to rescue Isak from his Tyneside prison cell?
By:
Liverpool will not bid again and have turned to Rodrico from real mardrid for 78m
By:
Rodrygo's a more obvious replacement for Luis Diaz. Very good player but his wages will be at the very top end of our limits.
By:
That sort of money run to hills
He’s too injured be worth that money Got two weeks bring in new player Get it done cos had enough up there |
By:
I'd be very surprised if Liverpool do not bid again, they would have known full well that the first bid would have been unsuccessful, they are not going to make the bid and then immediately walk away. Unless there hubris is such that with Isak's knees now all a quiver, he'll do the rest of the work for them and Newcastle are going to cave in with a disenchanted player on board.
By:
Newcastle in difficult place. Shirley Sesko would rather go to United than Toon?
Newcastle should take the money. |
By:
Leipzig know that Newcastle are going to be even more desperate than United which means his price is just going to go up....United need to get it done as soon as.

2 August 2025 - Howe says he "really doesn't know what is going to happen next" and describes the situation as "far from ideal"
By:
A bit naff Liverpool unsettling the player then not meeting the asking on a player with 3 years left on his contract.
Cheap. |
