Yep, there's always a bit of potato in a Vindaloo, but never realised why until now. Makes sense (aloo) but pretty pointless with rice.

You will not find a Vindaloo made with either pork or beef in an “ Indian “ restaurant in Blighty! Except perhaps Ma Goa in Putney which is not Bangladeshi! |
