Sarina has given huge "I'd rather be a lucky general than a good general" vibes all tournament. Spain and their death by a 1000 passes wont work against England's rope-a-dopers, that's the extent of my technical breakdown for this match.

Backing England.

Kind Regards.

given englands r un of the ball the price differential looks too big.

hard to call spain to be winning at ht might be the call. the rest is in the lap of the football gods

The Spanish got away with a lot of technical fouls in midfield to stop the German raids and allow the defence to regroup. The yellow card didn't come out for them until late in the game. A different ref might see it differently but the England girls should make more of a meal of it if they try the same tactics.

0-2 or 1-3 to Spain. I cannot see England scoring more than 1 goal over 90 mins.

highlighted in rp re Lucy Bronze, she was very lucky not to get carded in semi final, 3 fouls committed I counted  2 were cards  the third should have been a card for accumulation .
The first foul committed possibly  was a red if in the prem league. Stunned wasn't even booked, so for  me  bet is for her to be shown a card.

Based on what the English coach has said, defensive starting XI and switch up to attacking football last 20min or so. England So same as last two matches. If Spain are leading by one goal at that stage will lump on England to win trophy. Hope its a good match and fingers x it done go to pens Laugh

England 0.5+goal is 1/1 with 'Denise'. I'd even get £10 up from £1. What's up 'Denise'?

One change in the England line-up. Jess Carter is staring in the left back. I think Spain might take advantage of this.

would be silly not to.

Carter is a good player but can get caught out with a pacey player running at her. The 1st quarter is significant for England. If England can go in at 1/2-time without conceding or behind it's game on.

James is starting too. I hope she's fully fit - she clearly was not last time. She'd drop her shoulders when things are not going for her.

must be a fair chance the game is gone before she makes the key subs..thought she was very fortunate to get away with it against Italy..

that wasn't tactical acumen that was good fortune having waited too long..

Re: Lauren James

According to her former manager at Chelsea, and now head honcho for USA Ms Emma Hayes just give her a simple instruction, any more is a problem.

probably true of Gazza and a few others so I wouldn't hold that against her..on her day she's an absolute difference maker but not really on it for much of this tourny...

How could any manager think Jess Carter Horse should be in the team . She has been the weak link in all 4 games she has turned up in so far .

Going for cards here, no need to worry about missing next match, and England to get physical with the Spanish ladies. 2/1 for 4 or more cards will do for me.

Apparently it's the communication build-up between Williamson and Carter over the years. But, I agree the lack of pace of Carter could be exploited if the Spanish run at her.

Le Tissier (no, not that one)  been very unlucky not to get a start in this tourny imo..

There's more urgency in England's approach. But, James is not fully committed probably for fear of getting a knock or aggravating the injury she's carrying; she looked a lost at times.

Oh dear! England is behind again. Any coming back?
