England haven't laid a glove on them, there's a clear gulf in class when it comes to passing and moving
It's the same as the men's team, when it comes to the KO's the passing and moving of the opposition has always been superior |
By:
They had a free shot on goal earlier, and fluffed it up as a great chance. Whacked too close to keeper.

It's like watching the Barcelona Vs United CL final
By:
4-0 now live
By:
Spain technically (as said pre tourny) are technically way ahead of everyone..doesn't guarantee you winning though..
Sweden were probably their biggest threat just because they don't try and play them at football.. |
By:
Spain thoroghly exposing Bronze. She's having a mare.
By:
The strange thing is if England somehow fluked this win they'd be genuine calls for Sarina to be the next United manager should Amorim be out on his by Xmas
By:
out on his ear ffs
By:
Take James off. She's not herself; the injury is definitely hurting her.
By:
England have been well sussed out before hand
By:
Jess Carter looks like she should be playing Fly Half for Samoa
By:
Spain just so much more mobile.
They appear to have 2 extra players |
By:
I think Sarina needs to deploy the subs soon. Jame is a walking wounded, and wasted on the pitch (sadly).
By:
the two english full backs are having a torrid time
By:
James is a goner. It was honest of her to kick the ball out to initiate a sub.
By:
That was Lauren James most accurate pass of the game
By:
Somehow keep it to 1 with 15 to go
Spain dawdling a bit, all helps. |
By:
Can’t spend the whole game watching them pass the ball around like Man City did. Need to get into them, ruffle them up a bit
By:
Lauren James didn't look fit
By:
you can get at Spain, Belgium proved to an extent with some directness and physicality , all be it maybe a sloppy Spanish performance and Germany as well (though we missed the chance of that approach @ 0-1) but you try and play them as equals is a lack of self recognition for me..
By:
Nah let them pish around like peak citeh, keep it at 1
then go long last 15, and hope. Ain't beating them anywhere else on the pitch |
By:
Spain are playing a high line
do england know how to lob one over the top ? |
By:
Spain are a nice team to watch. I know it's only womens football, but it gives us something to bet on. And it's entertaining enough.
By:
They don’t like it up em, so I’ve heard
By:
A bit more physicality is needed for me . In their faces
By:
you have been radicalised mate
its sh1t football like sunday league |
By:
Can't get close enough to be physical.
By:
I find the commentators and pundits very hard to listen to, but the footabll is good at times.
By:
I like women's football. At least it's honest with no dodgy tactics deployed eg AOB in the King George yesterday.
By:
England have lobbed a few over the top
Don't have the pace to make it work. |
By:
Get that lethal striker on!
By:
Need a half time geggenpressing crash course
By:
Who's that@ Ayemang? It's took soon. She's our joker!
By:
true of any direct comparison in sport though Irish'..and this is earlier in it's development than most...
some decent technical players with Spain for how long they've had professionalism.. amazes me how tennis gets away with the WTA that's been around decades and is largely genuinely poor.. |
By:
Free money for England layers
By:
Sunday league players everywhere not going to like that comparison
By:
Agyemang needed. She is the female Drogba
By:
Don't have the pace to make it work.
didn't pick it certainly.. |
