Botafogo just put on the best defensive performance I've seen in a long while, I mean you'd normally expect the side trying to cling on to at least concede chances and the keeper to have to make saves, but they were so organized and so determined to force PSG to have to go wide and cross the ball in order to create anything, never let them play through them at all and the keeper never really had aything to do. PSG never looked like creating anything, a reality check to the European fancy dans.

Tempted into backing Flamengo later. S American teams are looking good so far here. Reckon the climate isn't such a bother compared to pasty faced Palmer et al, and their tactics of just getting in faces and rubbing people up seem to work well. Also, Chelsea aren't that good are they. Both sides have already got 3 points and are likely through, so could maybe see players rested though.
