Amazing what ref lets go, good job he has var to help.
Boca v PSG might be interesting |

Any game with a South American team and perhaps a South American referee in is worth watching, that game was a throwack to what we used to have before European football became sanitized....great stuff.
By:
Quite surprised Fluminense hasn't dropped v Dortmund later. Form line for good S American teams v average European ones has been well franked overnight.
By:
I'm 2/8 now, I think. I'm losing count, to be honest.

Well, it can be, but add in some og these teams rotating/being tired + the aggressive nature of S American teams
By:
On the bright side, Fluminense have gone from 1.57 to 1.47 with Pinnacle for Saturday's game against the Koreans. The Sundowns have gone from 2.20 to odds on against them tonight. Someone must have been paying attention to them in training maybe.

I thought Benfica were by far the better team, but
physicality of game shocked them. Boca got carried away at 2-0, so could be misleading, really fascinating game to watch, and drags me into the tournament even more. |
By:
I've backed U2.5 goals in the 5:00 game between Fluminense and Dortmund at 4/5. I'll post my pick for the other games later. I'm sure you'll all be waiting on tenter hooks for those.

Boca Bayern will be mad

I've heard it all now, Callum Wilson just said that you should leave football before football leaves you

Powder puff strikers on both sides, no wonder it's still 0-0
By:
0-0 FT looks NAILED ON.
By:
something's got to be done some kind of rule change to heavily disincentivise matches like this. this tournament is getting enough bad press without matches like this where both teams are happy to play a training match style draw
By:
as you say sofa this is a nailed on 0-0 and that cant be good for the spectacle this tournament is supposed to be
By:
Does anyone know how the prize money works?
Don't think they're necessarily playing for 0-0 here, but there's a lot of fodder in this tournament where they just want their appearance fee and to go home. Wondering if anyone knows the incentive for qualifying for the next round. |
By:
are they using a heavy ball or something?
Nobody seems able to hit a decent shot. |
By:
no idea. what i do know is dortmund are an attacking side. theyve had 5 shots. none of which worth talking about. if thats not playing for a draw i dont know what is
By:
I don't mind I'm on unders.

A wide open attacking game" apparently, but played between 2 sides who don't know how to score, or are trying not to.
Carbon copy of Palmeiras - Porto the other night. |
By:
defences have worked hard, tbf.
By:
3 0-0's already. its a borefest. if this is supposed to advertise the game to america ahead of the world cup all its going to do is remind them why they cant really stand it. they like sports where matches are exciting and scoring is frequent and with the way a tournament like this is set up theyll never get any entertainment at all
By:
0-0's are great, I love them.

could be another 1 or 2 tonight with any luck.
