2-0 PSG. they look a decent wee outfit and will definitely give Spurs a game in the Super Cup.

2-0 HT

PSG are just better than AM

They're now down to 4.2 to win the tourney.

We've still got 45 minutes to play, but it looks like I'm going to be 0/4. I've backed both Palmeiras and Botafogo FR at 6/5 in the 1X2 markets. Hopefully, I can claw a few pennies back. I watched the first half of the PSG game and felt they were comfortably in control; however, it's Bayern that has the easiest path to the later stages, in my opinion.

palmeiras vs porto
Got a modest bet on 0-0, and wish I'd gone much bigger. "A wide open attacking game" apparently, but played between 2 sides who don't know how to score, or are trying not to.
First look at Chelsea's new signing Estevao. Looks quite quick, but hasn't had much of a look in so far.

I think that makes me 1/5 now, correct me if I'm wrong. We have the Chelsea game later. Chelsea should win but offer no value, so I'll be checking out some different Markets to see if I can come up with a bet.

PSG will take some stopping ( not very original I know ) but the night they won the Europa Cup I thought I was watching the best Club in the World, and thats what you want, along with a bit of luck. Happy

PSG crushed Atletico last night almost as easily as they crushed Inter in the CL final.

I've gone for O2.5 goals in the Chelsea game at 4/11. I can't see LA scoring, so that means the Blues will need to score 3, so let's see.

3-0 is 9/1
Aoh is 2.1/1

If you think Chelsea win to nil and over 2.5.

I know you get lots of insurance built into simple 02.5 price

Really, I should be waiting to see but if I'm right I think the price might collapse.

Was looking into a couple of games earlier. Firstly, the tournament has so far just confirmed the gulf in class between the federations. But I suspect Dortmund might be a bit short against Fluminense. The Brazilians were a bit crap last year after a very successful 2023 but seem to have picked up this year. Dortmund have been average for a couple of years and shouldn't really be anywhere near this tournament.

But I was more interested in the Ulsan Hyundai v Mamelodi Sundowns game, where the Africans are favourites. Struck me as odd. If you put the top Asian and African teams together I'd have the Asians pretty strong favourites. But Ulsan look quite poor to me. Distant third in a league they normally dominate and they crashed out of the AFC CL early doors, while Sundowns got the CAF CL final. But still not convinced enough to have a bet. I think southern African teams are pretty poor, just not sure how much.

But on Saturday we've got Fluminense v Ulsan Hyundai with the Brazilians at 4/7. If they give a good account of themselves v Dortmund and the Koreans look a bit ropey I reckon that price could crash. I think bookies are a bit in the dark with a lot of these odds. As I said, there's a gulf in class between the federations it's just a question of how big.

Anyway I'm backing them now. Just enough to keep me interested, but I'm gonna have my finger poised during tomorrow's games in the hope of jumping in before the bookies catch on and slash away.

TLDR: Back Ulsan v Fluminense. I'm a mug.

pundits keep talking about Delap as if he's a world beater. A decent hard worker. Yes, but a great signing that will make a big difference? Not sure about that. Bound to be an improvement on Jackson, but that's not saying much.

Right, I make that 1/6. In the late games, I've gone for Boca Juniors at 19/4 and Flamengo at 1/3, both in the 1X2 market.
