McAtee been woeful all tournament, Hutchison the only England player to get pass marks in my book. Comms seem to be quite impressed with England somehow.

Portugal vs Netherlands
I fancy Portugal to win here. They have the stingiest defence in the comp so far, and they are very fluid in attack, with plenty of threat on both wings, especially on the right, with Quenda on fire. Holland are as flaky as ever, and don't inspire confidence at either end of the park. I don't see them beating this skillful Portugese side. 8/11 is a good price for Portugal to qualify, imo. |

Holland put it in the net, but offside, a warning for Portugal and they will have to be more careful.

Portugal try to be too intricate in and around the box. They don't seem to have anyone willing to put their laces through the ball. They need to take their chances and put this game to bed. The longer it stays 0-0, the more chance Holland have.

Credit to the Dutch, they've worked really hard, made it very difficult for Portugal, who haven't created nearly as much as they should.

Superb backs to the wall performance by the Dutch. Portugal got what they deserved really. Didn't create nearly enough, and missing a pen while playing a man up for most of the game is unforgiveable.

France got lucky again and scraped through. Brilliant side, world beaters according to the comms. Not in my book. Lazy and inconsistent. Would back England to beat them any day.

Italy not a bad side, imo. Won't be easy for Germany to beat them. Will have to play a lot better than against England, although it'll be a stronger eleven this time. 2-1 Germany would be my prediction, but Italy are a cohesive unit and won't be brushed aside.
