another 15 minutes of verbal diarrhoea from the commentary box.

You have to ask the managers of both teams.....
WHAT THE FECK ARE YOU TRYING TO DO ? There is no pattern of play , no TACTICAL nouse and just two teams slogging it out like two veteran boxers in the ring |
By:
England should beat either of these in the final, especially with an extra day's rest.

All the daphnes have Brazilians. Maybe they requested her.

Hard to believe there has ever been a fitter side than the Germans. Excellent shift from Kleinherne. Problem is if it goes to penalties you would think a technically gifted side like Spain will be pretty difficult to beat.

Gunther Netzer in the crowd ,has had the same hairstyle for over 50 years now.

This massively helps England's chances on Sunday, a whole day's extra rest and this game going all the way to pens.

How come there's absolutely no hotties in either side?
It's all very disappointing I must say. |
By:
Nice finish.
By:
Ah, keeper should have covered that.
By:
Goalie at fault but great shot
By:
beaten at her near post, too busy reading her water bottle?

Get in there ,backed Spain ,could give her a great big kiss ......then again maybe not.

The constant gaslighting and fawning over awful quality football by the media is the worst part

Goalkeeper looked very wimpy there

England vs Spain final for the 3rd year in a row.

Watched it all, somehow missed the goal. Still, will see it at least ten times between now and tomorrow lunchtime.

By:
Easy save? Ffs, shut up woman.
By:
Yes if England keeper made that save they'd be raving about it .
By:
That cross...you gotta laugh.
By:
It was an easy save. If it had gone in it would be awful goalkeeping
By:
I quite enjoyed it. Nice result but England must be big underdogs.

Interesting England 3:35
With the extra day's rest, would have them 2:00 |
By:
She made it look easier because she was paying attention and was thus in good position. It was an excellent save.

On Irish TV they just said the goal was 'a moment of class, the vision the execution.... clinical and highly technical'
It was a miss-hit cross which went into the centre of the goal with the keeper beaten at near post. An u-10 keeper would be gutted to let that in. |
By:
Spain currently 1.45 on here, England 3.2
Folk mustn't be impressed by Spain tonite. |
By:
Mis-hit cross my rss. The goalie left a gap of a yard as she set up, the Spaniard clocked it and said why not and tried her luck.
By:
thought Spain would be more like 4/11 pokes surprised to see 10 clicks bigger
England have been awful in the knockouts barring about a 10 minute period |
By:
Bonmati's goal was definitely deliberate and a proper touch of class in awareness and execution. I don't see England parking two buses in defence like the Germans for the final. I expect the game to be similar to the NL match 7 weeks ago.
By:
The finish was class. The German player dangerously dribbling in her own penalty box area and then clearing it away to a Spanish player just before it ... not so much.
By:
I thought it was a pretty good game between two very good teams. The goal was class. Goal keeper a5 fault bu5 onl6 because her defenders left her exposed. She was trying to get the defenders in to block the cross and left a small gap, which, Bonmatti exploited. It could have gone wide or hit the keeper but it did not.
Why do people watch if they think women’s football is a joke? The last few days has been great tv. |
