Madely would have been gutted to get the call to the screen judging by his Cup performance..

the jota one the other day was fcking scandalous he wasn't even booked from memory

I agree, Elise, but there was very clearly contact from two players on Young here, so where is the clear and obvious mistake about it? Even Rio says it was a pen!
|

By:
yep, I didn't have it as an overturn...just very very soft..

By:
sure lat it wasn't in the same league, i just thought live it wasn't a pen but yes agree actually it could have been given in some games, whereas the jota one was a blatant cheat getting caught

Not seen the Jota 1 from last week but don't think they can give a yellow after referral though

When ref is called to screen he has all options open.
|
|
By:
judging by his Arse' display he'd have been desperate to still give it..but would have looked very suss with the current approval ratio of screen overturns...

Ashley Young is a serial diver, the Tom Daley of Merseyside

He is. Two men had hold of him though in the box. United were very fortunate to get it overturned.

Like cannabis Shirt tugging has been decriminalised and is only an offence if the Copper or Ref doesn't like you

ALL OPTION ARE OPEN AT THE SCREEN
by the time VAR showed the only angle/pics that counted reff had made his mind up and turned his back on the screen if VAR had only show the angle.pic that's counted madley would 100% have stayed with his onfield decision, that's why VAR showed him everything but the pics that counted |

Im not commenting on what happened, but on the suggestion he can't give a yellow. He can, as review opens every option. In reality ref being called to monitor means var consider he has made an error. Sadly we don't hear the conversation. |
