Man Utd need to prepare ahead for the Championship. Maybe they could give Wout Weghorst a ring.....He could be a right transfer in given the new long ball/throw tactics Utd are deploying.
Remember when the idiot fans tried proclaiming Wout Weghorst was an adequate replacement for Ronaldo ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Marcus Rashford’s representatives have held exploratory talks with AC Milan about loaning the Manchester United forward in the January transfer window.
Dwaine Maynard, Rashford’s brother and agent, flew to Milan on Tuesday to hold discussions with recruitment staff at the Serie A side. Talks remain at a preliminary stage as Milan’s senior executive team were returning from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where the team fought back from 2-0 down to beat rivals Inter 3-2 in the Italian Super Cup. Are Arsenal really interested?
Not looking at the round BALL!!! ![]() |

Rashford really is in the sh!t if Milan are courting his brother.

Aston Villa are closing in on a loan deal for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford before Monday's transfer deadline.
Sources have told BBC Sport talks are at an advanced stage, but there is work to be done to finalise the move. The prospect of working with Villa boss Unai Emery is understood to be an attractive one for the 27-year-old. Rashford has not featured for United since being dropped by head coach Ruben Amorim for the Manchester derby on 12 December. decent move for him i reckon |

What part of Barcelona is Aston Villa located in?

Marcus Rashford to Aston Villa
Agreement in place on loan deal with over 70% salary covered by Villa. Buy option clause worth £40m also included in contract with potential three year and half deal to follow. @Fabrizio Romano |

A harsh reality check for Marcus and his team of 'advisors'.

By:
I think we'll see a big improvement in Rashfords attitude now he's moved to a big club.
By:
I have absolutely no doubt we'll see a massive improvement in Rashford's on pitch efforts. Hell, he might even run!
By:
i wouldnt employ anyone with his work ethic and wage demands like his. he could be devisive in the dressing room. huge gamble to take him by villa.
By:
it could be the biggest waste of a huge wedge of cash since Sterling joined Arsenal.

Less than 5m in wages is not that big a gamble. He's incentivised to play well and get the move. Villa have no obligation to buy. Decent deal for all involved.
United could end up getting Sancho and Rashford's wages off the books and a decent FFP profit on Rashford. Pretty impressive to get that done in a year if they manage it. |

Villa got £70m last week for Duran.
Cash to burn |
By:
Why has this mug been doing everything he can to crow bar himself out of the club he grew up supporting and where's he been since he was 8 ? to go and play for Aston Villa ? strange, seems like another case of bad agent/advice which I think is his brother.
With £70 mil from the Duran deal I doubt Villa will suffer financially with this move with ffp , but I'm surprised a manager like Emery wants him, all he has ever demonstrated is a bad attitude and poor work ethic. Kind Regards. |
By:
I don't think we should pre-empt this move. Something wasn't right at Utd and we're about to find out if it was them or him. Emery is banking on them, it would appear.
By:
Not sure its a good deal for Villa.
70% of £350k a week is still £245k a week Not sure his form or attitude warrants that. Option to buy at £40m doesnt seem a bargain either. Half the figures above would seem more market value |
By:
The deal is not based on current form. It's based on what he's capable of. If he performs, 40m will be a bargain. If he doesn't it's only a 5m commitment in wages for 5 months when they've just got 70m in.
By:
Hasn't been a £40m player for a long time. Even when he was it was for brief moments.
£5m down the swanny, you think he is going to push you into champ league football. Don't think so. Not sure what the likes of Watkins, Rodgers would think. My guess is if he is worth £250k a week, then I am worth more. |
By:
i'd fully expect a big improvement from Marcus now he has an actual coach who can control his squad/has real proper respect and doesn't thrown everyone under the bus.
Utd are now paying him 100k a week to play for the opposition. That seems great incompetence to add to the history of incompetence from the circus club. The real question is though who are Utd bringing into replace Rashford and Antony in this window. Thats a hell of alot of money binned off and in Rashfords case, they have moved one of their proper goalscoring outlets out the door. They are overpaying his wage but the transfer fee is potentially a deal if things work out well. Villa have an option and no doubt Marcus himself will re-evaulate who he wants to join full time in the summer when potentially more offers come in. |
By:
What the hell is Villa thinking?
By:
£40m is more than fair in todays market for a player of his type who has shown he can contribute goals, has pace but doesn't work hard enough to be worth more. He is at best EPL proven. Also so far as I can see they have sold one of the only players who gives them a reasonably consistent goal output.
By:
My guess is if he is worth £250k a week, then I am worth more.
They will think that if he signs for 40m AND gets 250k a week on a permanent contract. It's a temporary arrangement with no loan fee. |
By:
Villa looked very poor against Wolves and I’m not sure Rashford will help. I expect Emery to jump ship soon for a better club.
By:
I really hope that we don't sell him to Villa...just loan him please just loan him.
By:
Bit of a desperation signing from Villa. They probably weren't planning to sell Duran but the money was too good to turn down. They're left with an injury-prone Watkins, who might agitate for a move to Arsenal, and have just bought Malen. They need another striker so Rashford is cheap, no obligation to keep him if he bombs but hopefully he might actually put some effort in to regain his previous form.

I am pretty sure Marcus Rashford could hit a cow on the backside with a banjo……. unlike Kai Havertz
By:
At least Havertz knows he is not a centre forward unlike Mikel Arteta
By:
The opposition centre forward scores a goal after the commentators criticise him for only having 6 touches in the first half
Arsenal midfielder restores tge head with a deflected shot. Thank goodness it was not Havertz decision to make! |
By:
It would appear the teenage left back knows where the goal is too.
By:
Oh my
The left back showed him how to do it. Well done Kai! |
By:
Got his confidence back now
![]() |
By:
Yeah!
25 goals now fo sho! Tbf pretty good second half from Arsenal and shocking from Citeh. I thought the way they started the season they would be contenders then the wheels fell off. This is what they can do but it took a teenage left back to show them how to play without fear and with joy. |
By:
Just a thought: Marcus Rashford could supply free school meals for every child in Manchester out of his wages. After all, he ‘s not doing anything else.
By:
i dont think rashford wants villa. he will look for another club in the summer but will need to up his game at villa to attract attention.
I also think he may take the view Amorim wont last till the summer if they continue as they are. Would you seriously bankroll Amorim given the total car crash he has made of what he took over? I thought ETH was a Hall of Fame awful coach but he is better than Amorim. It's staggering how bad this guy is. |
