This guy has single handedly dragged portuguese football out of the gutter. Remember Figo and Costa couldnt get them to a world cup ffs Ronnie deserves to pick himself. Fair play to Martinez for showing proper respect. Think Maradona at USA 94. Clearly past it but you give one of the best ever the respect he deserves. 2 other facts. 1. Portugal would not win this tournament with or without Ronnie 2. Theres no one better to replace him. If Joao Felix was a dog, you would have him put down ffs. Ramos is dogging it in Ligue 1 ffs |

They gave him respect in the last WC. He was dusted then and he's been in Saudi for 1.5 years since. Hanging around like a bad smell at this stage.

actually the 2 lads did get them to the 2002 world cup where they disgraced the nation failing to get out of the group stage and getting beaten by the USA and South Korea ffs

the tournament they won he went off after about 10 mins of the final...he was incredible at his peak (briefly better than Messi)...doesn't mean you get special rights ...Messi still delivered at WC so team mates did his running and Argentina had less quality in that side..
