danger for ENGLAND and france is that if spain dont win the group of death with italy, croatia, albania, they,ll move over to the same side of the draw as england and france,
i personaly think poland, holland, france, and austria is a tough group |
By:
I've got France in sweep.
Was thinking how much tougher it will be for france after I pulled them out. |
By:
tough group for sure but good enough to go through imvho
By:
lay out your plans ,thing england are goingt to win ,kane wins golden boot etc and then the wall chart arrives and you starting looking at possible teams you need to beat/avoid and it all looks a great deal harder, ignorance is bliss

have backed italy and the dutch to win and to make the final around 20 ish and 22 ish & 8.4 both to make the final .
By:
ive back
france 9 to 2 spain 8,s golden boot mbappe 11 to 2 lukaku ew at 16,s 1st 5 if i new ronny was a starter every game i,d have a few £ on him as i think portugal might rack up a few goals in the group stages |
By:
for those who like a flutter at fruity prices sportinlife have put up 2 longshots ew for golden boot
hakan calagoru of turkey 150,s and shakiri swiss at 250,s |
By:
I like to try and find one around those prices. It’s almost impossible though.
I remember backing Jackson Martinez for Columbia at huge odds for the Golden Boot at The World Cup. I thought they had a fairly easy draw. My bet flopped badly but an unknown teammate of his called James Rodriguez won it! He did pretty well for himself after that. It always felt like a near miss bet to me! |
By:
does Shakiri play more than 60 mins these days ?
I know it's a big price but if he doesn't allied to Swiss not being a high scoring side even 250 wouldn't feel that generous.. |
By:
Jota around 40/1 is great I think. Scores bundles in the prem when fit, and he should get enough minutes in the group stages to score a a few

Whoever gave those tips from SportingLife should give his head a wobble, the worst bet I've seen so far at least in regards to the Turk.
Calhanoglu is purely a Defensive Midfielder for Turkey, that's what he did not score a single or nor provide a single assist in Turkey's qualifying campaign, and he was there 2nd most used player in terms of minutes played. It's at Inter Milan where he scores goals with the regista position he's been given, hence Inter's second top scorer. The journo must have seen Calhanoglu score the consolation goal against in the Austria friendly recently where they were battered 1-6 and thought he was on to something, would not back with counterfeit. Hasn't done his homework on Shaqiri either, whilst a better option than the Turk, the Swiss manager recently said they have to be careful with Shaqiri because he can't play 90 minutes twice in 4 days, Switzerland have 3 games in 9 days. Don't fancy backing a Golden boot winner who'll probably play 65 minutes max in any game he plays Those odds should be the other way around. Kind Regards. |

I’ve totally lost my bet
No jack to get free kicks No pan head stones on rocky ground With headers from free kicks 25/1 14s anytime in past both to score |
By:
why he did not score a single goal * ffs
By:
Who didn’t ?
By:
think the argument for the turk was he takes all the set pieces ,pens etc and everything has to go through him,
ive never heard of him but their right up doesnt match your defensive midfielder role |
By:
he,s scored 13 from 32 games for inter this season and georgia are in turkey,s group, who are expected toleaklots of goals
By:
Hills go 9/2 England.
They have been a stand out for quiet a few weeks now. |
By:
^^They boost England, Germany and France's games from 1/2 to 'evens' for more than 0.5 goal per these games - max £5 only.

For what it's worth I thought I'd post my football bets so you can all have a laugh!!
Uruguay. (Copa America) Portugal. (Euro 2024) I pulled France in the sweep at work. Romelu Lukaku. (Top Goalscorer) Bruno Fernandes. (Player of the Tournament) Kobbie Mainoo. (Young Player of the Tournament) Scratch these from your betting slips and have a great month. ![]() |

By:
Italy outright for me. 16-1 ish. They usually give you a good run for your money, especially if they are not one of the favourites

I can't find the Euro Outright market (on the Exchange) anywhere. Is it just me, or is there not one?
By:
https://www.betfair.com/exchange/plus/football/market/1.211705639
it's after all the listed fixtures after you go in to Euro 2024 |
By:
Kobbie Mainoo. (Young Player of the Tournament)
Unlikey he starts, if you want a wild punt for young player of the tournament then Yildiz for Turkey at 80/1 is a good punt, flashy young kid from Juventus, predicted to start against Georgia |

What a berk. I've been looking for days.
Even did a search a couple of times. And could not find them. There they are clear as day, as soon as you pointed them out that is. Many thanks Brentford. |
By:
no worries mate.
By:
Give Steve Clarke this England squad after the euros and he'll win a World cup and the next euros on the bounce .
By:
Shaqiri not in Swiss starting XI..
By:
11 days , 72 games to whittle 24 teams down to 16 is obviously farcical, one can only imagine the amount of non jiggers, team changes in last round of games as groups take shape
as many teams going home in 1st rd of knockouts as knocked out in group stages |
By:
Is the team sheet out yet? I've £10 riding on at 'evens' with 'billie'.
