We went to world cup in France 98.

Plenty of tickets for games available. Near game days.

Obviously I can't guarantee that would be same for you.

OK not home team or England, but we had a great time
saw some games and fan zones were brilliant

yeah YHTL chances are the game will be Holland v Poland so i reckon it will be a total sell out.

Id hate to go over and not getto watch the game
Balance of risks i suppose

If you buy tickets for one game but are there for
3 the chances are you get fixed up for another game.

Prices are silly these days

I went to 3 games at sjp at euro 96

Saw France Bulgaria and Romania play 2 games each

I don't think they sold out any of 3 games!

That's a shame.

Still got the option of the first come first served when they release tickets people haven't paid for and not taken up. Looks like that will be after the play offs. Probably worth while logging in to the ticket portal anytime on here betting and just having the window open as tickets jiust seem to be uploaded at any point then when they're gone they're gone.

It's difficult to know how easy tickets will be to buy/transer from a stranger in the week before given they are all e tickets in an app now. I've never used tickets solely used on an app before.

UEFA will have a resale platform opening in a couple of months, will be a few on that , especially the cat1,cat2 ones.

Not sure when/how the tickets will be released for games where the teams haven’t sold their 10,000 allocation.

The resale platform will be worth looking at when get to knockout games. People will have tickets hoping their team are involved & sell them when in a different city or knocked out.

Was in Germany for 2006. Even if you don’t have a match ticket it will be fun. The fan parks were well organised.

Anyone 'laying' England? This is a great opportunity never to be missed ever (again); 4.3 fav (here), never won a competition despite fav and ought to have under Mr Southgate.

Pile on! Highly, highly unlikely to regret, I firmly believe; will be even shorter when beating a no-hoper.

'Laying' England is a no-brainer; the manager is a perennial loser and tactically inept. I'm waiting for at least 3.5 here - I'm greedy!

I'm also laying England. Don't see them winning it with that defence and wetwipe Gareth in charge.

cheers, does confirm bbc one is wrong as has 1st match in 1/4s as  m37 v m38, it isnt its m37 v m39, ( and therefore its m40 v m38 )  makes a lot of difference

Group winners, runners-up and the best four third-placed teams will advance to the round of 16.

Tiebreakers

If two or more teams are equal on points on completion of the group matches, the following tie-breaking criteria are applied:[63]

    Higher number of points obtained in the matches played between the teams in question;
    Superior goal difference resulting from the matches played between the teams in question;
    Higher number of goals scored in the matches played between the teams in question;
    If, after having applied criteria 1 to 3, teams still have an equal ranking, criteria 1 to 3 are reapplied exclusively to the matches between the teams who are still level to determine their final rankings.[a] If this procedure does not lead to a decision, criteria 5 to 10 will apply;
    Superior goal difference in all group matches;
    Higher number of goals scored in all group matches;
    If on the last round of the group stage, two teams who are facing each other are tied in points, goal difference and goals scored then they drew their match, their ranking is determined by a penalty shoot-out. (This criterion is not used if more than two teams had the same number of points.);
    Lower disciplinary points total in all group matches (1 point for a single yellow card, 3 points for a red card as a consequence of two yellow cards, 3 points for a direct red card, 4 points for a yellow card followed by a direct red card);
    Higher position in the European Qualifiers overall ranking, unless the comparison involves hosts Germany, in which case a drawing of lots will take place.

Also, if Portugal do well, then Fernandes at around 40/1 for best player looks decent. I'd back Jota for golden boot, but not sure how many minutes he'll get
