They really need to pull the plug on VAR now. It's not even getting the basics right and the officials' safety net is failing them. You can't have infallible technology that just isn't working and having such a big effect on games.

I do agree it needs to go now, but we all know that isn't going to happen

agree, VAR needs to be binned, said it last week, it's spoiling football.

People complaining about VAR again. The error was a human one made by the onfield officials. It's exactly the type of error VAR normally picks up but it failed this time for whatever reason. It's not a case for getting rid of VAR, it's actually the opposite. If you get rid of VAR that goal is still ruled out for offside.

The commentator on that Crazy, something like 'but the goal will quickly ease the pain!', not if he's blown his knee out ffs

Tottenham weren't "shyte" tobes, you're talking bollox; it was a good game by both sides, ruined by poor decisions. Get a grip.

PGMOL has admitted that Luis Diaz had a goal incorrectly ruled out for offside in Liverpool's 2-1 loss at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

VAR really not fit for purpose if they can't correct such obvious errors.

Of course if goal stands then worlds a different
place and 2nd red never happens

Every VAR decision that is wrong is down to human error, Lurka. Liverpool fans would’ve had to take it on the chin today if that goal was disallowed and VAR hadn’t been introduced. It should’ve been overruled by VAR today. Most people watching knew he was onside.

They had a man advantage for 40 minutes and then a 2 man advantage for another 30, and need a last minute og to win

Obvious from picture he's onside.

But there's no broadcast of live conversation.

How do we ever know why they chose to decide he's offide

Corruption.. Ineptitude..

Which shows how good Liverpool are, not how bad Spurs are. Liverpool are a very good PL side and done what a good PL side should. They were unfortunate not to hold out.

How did they get the VAR decision on Diaz's goal wrong? how can they not draw a straight line?

The point is anyway, VAR is killing the game because you never know if a goal is a goal and it takes the joy out of the game, they do get more correct decisions than wrong, but football survived without it and over the course of a season teams ended up pretty much where they should be.

Really was incredible to see, didn't even seem that close. Clearly onside. The bizarre thing was how quickly they ruled it out. Usually they are studying it for 3 minutes, but in this case no one bothered to even look Crazy

at least they looked at it though, in the Arsenal Brentford game last season they didn't even botherLaugh

I don't buy that explanation either. Something's gone on and they're trying to cover it up. We need to hear the chat between the officials. And VAR needs removing. Neville has highlighted a few things have been odd in recent weeks and I'd imagine Monday Night will pretty much be dedicated to VAR. There will be very little confidence in VAR next weekend and it needs turning off for a couple of weeks while they try to figure out the mess.

Who looked at it though? 'VAR did not intervene'. The VAR bloke must have popped outside for a cig break and so they just went with the linesman error

Not a Liverpool fan but did have a bet on them tonight. Really disappointed that have lost money due to appalling officiating! Hopefully the ref and VAR official won’t be back for a considerable period. It’s just not good enough!

VAR is great, sadly run by the same people that make the same mistakes on the pitch.
