Both teams are value for money for us neutrals.
By:
Agreed, that's damning
By:
VAR is ruining the game but it’s giving us some good talking points! Agony and ecstasy depending on which way it goes for the fans.
By:
VAR is terrible. Refs have had years now of being indecisive because they know their backs are covered and we've now reached the stage where they are simply incapable of making good decisions. VAR has simply ruined officiating in this country.

Gakpo was already limping in the build up to the goal
By:
I think he jarred his knee turning before shooting. That might be the last we see of him this season.
By:
When the ball was out wide, before it even came in he was limping, you could see it, you'd assume he'd jarred in whilst turning but he injured it had already happened.
When you see the build up to the goal again watch him in the box before the ball comes in and he's clearly limping. |

Did Jota even touch Udogie for the first yellow, I didn't see any contact, looked like Udogie tripped over his own feet, ref also gave Tottenham a corner when Kulusevski kicked it out
By:
Res card that shouldn't have been, an iffy offside disallowed goal and a second yellow that should have been a first yellow.
Don;t think I've seen a game where s many big decisions have gone against a single team. |
By:
Udogie clipped Jota's knee, not Jota's fault at all.
By:
ref does look like he's out of his depth, like he's stopping play to book players so he can have a rest, looks unfit
By:
Hard to argue with your comments lads, but once booked, that second swipe was poor
By:
Pretty sure he didn’t touch him, SH.
By:
The 2nd challenge when on a red was ridic. Zero brain cells imo.
By:
He caught his knee, which put him out of his stride and he tripped himself because of it. Wasn't a first yellow
By:
Jota was the one being fouled before he fouled
By:
if Tottenham lose this, would it be the first time a team has ever won with 9 men against 11 in the Premier League?
By:
Official and var stinking the place out here
By:
we've probably got another 20 minutes with added time
By:
another game ruined by var and inept offal's
By:
Same old Scousers, always cheating.
By:

Totally undeserved win, was always going to be a mistake cos they couldn't score

Harsh on the pool. Great finish for the neutral.
By:
Dust ourselves down and go again
By:
Postecoglu now getting the freakish luck that Arteta got for most of last season. Although he does have them playing good attacking stuff.
By:
Arsenal play City next week at home, Tottenham play Luton away

Now you know how we felt in the CL final Dragon... never a penalty!

Swings and roundabouts

The var offside was terrible.
Doubtless they will tell us that wasn't the actual frame used. But they have to show the correct frame because people at home deserve to see what is happening. The 60,000 in the ground don't matter to them But remember covid games... |
