 Seems absurd to me that the extra Champion's League places are being determined by a formula including the minor competitions. I suppose the co efficent has always done that but there hardly seems any different weighting for performance in the CL and the 3rd division trophy. Italy's has an extra Champion's League spot in the bag when all their teams are out already this year. While England & Germany have 2 each remaining and Spain has 3! |

We would still have 8 places, apparently, but will put the better
teams into the top comp. And less in lower ones. Other teams will benefit from being at right level. It's odd, in ways, but there is some logic there as lots of euro teams won't want liverpool or the like in europa league... |

West ham unlucky but managers change games and howe eventually getting it right and Moyes taking off impressive Antonio for Calvin Phillips... OK Newcastle were threatening, but that's a gift. Anderson looks a great prospect, and Barnes back to fitness looks good. What a winner... Ref had a good game but missed a pen, good job var spotted it. Thought West ham 2nd goal was fair as Schar surely not suffering head injury, and feigning to avoid booking. Kudus and Bowen are a handful, Antonio a double handful having fouled Jamaal? to get his subbed injured... Cheer up David Moyes, a booking and what a face palm at 3-3..lol Gordon misses Everton game, deserved rest. |
