Enjoyed the 2 games v Dortmund even though
we lost them both. Some great lessons to be learned, and nice to see some of our youngsters get minutes, even If it was forced, somewhat. |

Great effort to get a point, some poor finishing
from PSG and good defending, but somewhat ran out of gas. Typical European penalty, hey ho Beat meelan and we are still in europe So value left in me £60. |

Alexander Isak tonight became the first player to score an away UEFA Champions League goal for Newcastle since Alan Shearer vs Inter in March 2003.

Not same team away from home this season.
Hey ho, two gig games in next 6 days Spurs away, meelan home. Then Fulham home, Chelsea away cup quarter following week. This is what we want, but are not adequately equipped at the mo. (Being ahead of schedule punishment) |

Totally agree; plenty of more bumps on the road ahead; it's how you recover from them that counts

If Newcastle draw or win they are still in europe.
If Paris win then Newcastle can only reach europa league for which a draw would suffice. If Dortmund take a point then Newcastle beating milan would see us second in group. If PSG beat Dortmund they top group, so dortmund need a point to avoid group winners in next round. Milan can still qualify if they beat newcastle and Dortmund beat PSG. Set up beautifully... Just need my ticket to arrive via t'internet... Hopefully sort that tomorrow |

2 goals for Joselu tonite.
I would just love it if we got to play them... |

Sad to go out, but quite a journey this season.
Another cracker of a game... didn't go our way. Equaliser looked a bit flukey hey ho, stick your chances away and you progress. Good luck to Dortmund and Milan, 2 good teams. PSG in europa will make that a decent comp to win Good luck to Liverpool, villa and west ham in europa, Arsenal and Citeh in champs league, And brighton in conference. We need our remaining teams to do well to get that 5th champs league spot (spurs/villa?) “It’s not beyond our wildest dreams, because we did have wild dreams.” Sir Bobby Robson. We continue to dream, Sir. |

You'll never sing that...
Lewis Miley is the youngest player in UEFA Champions League history to assist a goal for an English club (17 years, 226 days), breaking Theo Walcott's record from November 2006 for Arsenal (17 years, 250 days). Opta |

A 6,000 allocation for #nufc for the FA Cup Wear-Tyne derby. North Stand upper and lower tiers for away fans.
#safc say there is an agreement in place for them to get the same allocation if there is a replay at St James' Park. |

A couple of weeks ago I would have been delighted to see
Arsenal and spurs lose. Now it's awful that our rivals Brighton and West ham won. Got to love Arteta facing camera after that. |
|
By:
if u want any euro football next season Howe must go. btw Brighton in Europa Villa in Conference
|
|
By:
Yeah, spotted I had Brighton and villa wrong way around
but cheers for that. Howe's an odd one in that he divides opinion outside the club but fans seem 90% + onside with him. I'm pretty much happy with him but assume if he's replaced it won't be by a Bruce or carver or Pardew. |
|
By:
We need euro cash but don't need euro schedule
We also need a high finish to get euro football to get the players we need... Maybe a couple will have to be sold too, to finance the building project. Fans likely don't want to lose the players that other clubs want. |

Good win, good pressing from Longstaff, joelinton Almiron and Gordon. |

Another good game, another bad result.
Lack of subs in midfield is killing us |

Blackburn away, banana skin, Jon Dahl awaits.
Three away games... £180 saved, replay takes it to £120. Newcastle fans hopeful of getting 7500 seats at Blackburn, we played them in cup about 10 years ago when hate scored that goal. They brought less than 300 fans... Well if we got Hereford we would see endless ronny radford https://youtu.be/txqYJduFhlo .. |
