this argentina have half decent midfielders and average defenders but they have julian alvarez and messi.......its a mediocre world cup and maybe teh best player in the tournament so far - messi - can get them over the line.

Whilst haaland is a monster, I think the argie lad for City, will be included in the argument as one of the worlds best players by the end of 2023. I was told in the sauna at my gym that Alvarez was bought as the replacement for Aguero. Can’t remember what he said about why they bought Haaland, maybe just opportunity. I still think Haaland is THE Beast but am intrigued as to how this Alvarez develops. Lauturo and Dybala on the bench, somebody knows something!
