Hilarious on one hand and impressive on the other. I only heard bits of the first half on Radio 5 live and the condescending commentary regarding Saudi rings hollow now. The BBC commentators thought Argentina deserved to be 3-0 up and were likely to score 3 more in the second half. I got back in time to see nearly all of the second half when SA have been a very good match for Argentina and deserve to win.

Mr Blue- a few will get badly stung on this one. Another example of no Sir Taintys in footie. In my early days I suffered a few of these upsets but a life in academia, statistististics, & punting has taught me 4 rules:
1. Don't take anything for granted. 2. Don't ignore rule 1. 3. Follow rule 2 4. Look a gift horse in the mouth even if you're not an equine vet! I hope this is of assistance to my fellow BetFairians. |
