If Ole puts Ronaldo on the bench for the derby I'm not going to be happy! Have never seen Ronaldo play live as refused to pay the ticket prices at Valencia when they played Ronaldos Real Madrid. Will be happy if he scores 3 as long as City get 4 Grin

First time I went to OT as a Leeds fan was when you could still stand at grounds,

At the end of the game over the tannoy came 'would the Leeds fans please remain in their places for 10 minutes to allow time for the home fans to disperse'

The fella standing next to me said 'that's fair enough, they've got further to go than us'

Was there about 55 years ago, ref blew the final whistle & Paul Reaney looked in his pocket and said "you can come out now George"

remember a few years ago when the Icelandic volcano was erupting and lots of flights were cancelled

there were a lot of empty spaces at Anfield for a few games, can't remember Old Trafford but I imagine it was the same there

I can vividly remember being at the old Plough Lane ground early 80s when Wimbledon played Man Utd, it was like a home game for Man Utd with the ridiculous " cockney reds" out in force.

I used to go there sometimes before Wimbledon dogs in the evening hence my prescence, in case anyone was wondering.  Mischief

wd never go to OT in the 70,s as an away liverpool fan but went in the 90.s with friends from manchester after imoved up.

tbf manchester fans were fine  and good local supporters who has a good sense of humour. Terribly biased in fav of man utd but hey ho the few times i went i had no complaints

3 of my friends are life long man utd fans, i asked them on sunday how many times in their lives they'd been to old trafford, the answers were; 2 x zero and one had been twice (one of those games was a testimonial), so between the 3 of them they'd seen one competitive game (all in their 40s), your 1 in 55 yrs is actually pretty good for a man u fan let alone a city fan, you are probably entitled to a free shirt or something

Me about 8 or 9 times Elise with Palace. Each time we were always really well received at Old Trafford and never one moment of grief at all in those visits.

the first time i went there on the man utd supporters coach when i lived in northampton and stood on the stretford end as an away supporter, i collected several pies just after half time when we nearly scored and i forgot where i was

The only time I've ever had something lobbed at me was at Newcastle, I was sitting with my Geordie mates and we scored, I jumped up and a sausage roll headed in my direction but more in jest than anything more than that. I always stayed up there for the week

worst away visit i had was turf moor in the 70,s  . Burnley fans were mad we were spat on and had to evade regular darts being thrown at us . Grim

Carlise away was another one i think all the nobs from scotland and the surronding areas turned up to fight the away liverpool fans. Port vale was another pleassant experievce as a visit also

I'd agree with that, it's a fantastic stadium and their supporters are great. Even if they do stick the away fans in the corner up in the heavens!
I've got family and mates in the N.E. so I always sit with them though when we play there.
