Still not working, went to lay fulham at 2.32, just before the goal went in, thinking, that is a ridicously short price for a side that can't score a goal.
By:
Best not get a bet on, lads, cos it'll crash and there'll be no laying-off. Unless you don't intend to lay off, of course, each to their own

By:
probably, but if Burnley get a second they'll pay out early, would be a bit of compensation at least. we'll see.

I hope so too Des Pond....................
By:
Just as I speak, at least I've won 12 quid at the bookies, if not on here.
By:
you're right no9 - will leave this alone now even if they get their act together
By:
ugh so annoying 0-2 now - useless bf

By:
best to be cautious, I think this happened to me during a game last week, although nobody else seemed to be affected, which would suggest it could easily happen again.
By:
Im asking myself, is this the time to finnally drop betfair. I cant just with live the fact being caught in the middle of a trade and without any chance to get out. F*** you betfair.
By:
cheers, cricketnut. I think they pay out early if your team goes 2 up.

are bettdak any better, though? consensus seems to be that liquidity is poor. but if enough people defect it could improve .
By:
don't forget you can lay off using the sportsbook
By:
@Giuseppe - I have in fact done, what you advice. There is unfortunately an amount that I set on hold inplay and that I cant remove. So only the part not on hold I have arbed at the sportsbook.
By:
arbing is all very well, but you have to cover alternative scores at poor prices, It's nowhere near as effective as laying off after the price has dropped
By:
if you hedge 0-1, 1-1 and 1-0 to cover your 0-0, you could end up losing even more if it goes 0-2 or 0-3 or any other score.
By:
Still no bets can be accepted
By:
working now
By:
it was back for a second, I was just about to readjust when they supended it again.
![]() |
By:
Don't go there, Giuseppe, for your own good, unless you don't intend to arb, in which case you've got nothing to lose.
By:
see what Des posted, simultaneously
By:
suspended again, couldn't be more infuriating if they tried!
By:
Des, give it up, mate, and keep your blood pressure sensible. You know enough to know there will be thousands of betting opportunities when the machine is fixed. Cool it (for your own good)
By:
yes, number9, you are right.
By:
Good man. Earlier tonight I had a bet I was ready to close when the site crashed. It never came back until the match was over, in this particular case I got lucky, but I know exactly how you're feeling once you've put a bet on and can't organise it. But don't, now, think of a new bet.
By:
Only a small amount in my case, but there must be some punters with much larger amounts that they can see diappearing before their eyes, unable to do anything about it.
By:
True Des but nothing we can do for them.
By:
what the **** is going on with porto markets
By:
Rio the site's in strife, keep off.
By:
it's back now, but too risky to get involved
By:
Seems fine now
By:
its back on
By:
**** it too risky for any big bets
By:
Plenty betting opportunities in the future, lads, take a pull.
By:
Bye bye Fulham
By:
EPL should make relegation clauses compulsory in all contracts, saves the need for parachute payments which are incredibly disruptive of Championship club finances.
By:
Wow! I just thought of that, and the more I think about it the better it gets! (pats own back)
By:
crashed again, so just as well to stay away.
