Why leave sevco when they have qualifying games in the CL next season I hear you ask? there's no way Gerrard will walk away from Rangers after only losing a league title because of a points deduction, he'll be keen to put that right, remember as a player Gerrard never won the league with Liverpool either

The English media is going bananas over 'how well he has done up here', this time last year the fans were calling for him to go, he has so far won 1 domestic trophy out a possible 9, whilst stretching sevco's finances to the limit by holding the board to ransom over selling players, the fallout from this is yet to come. Your average sevco fan is too thick to see this.

best to stick with the Rangers for a bit now even if as we know most managers turn sour at sometime .. Scotland still well behind the black ball as far as good squads look far into the future . not sure how long they have missed out Europe C.L. but thats next step after this win .. a huge task ahead for all Scottish teams .. never the less .. thats where the country is Now ..

Stevie G looks a very good managerial prospect but he should probably stay in Scotland for a few more years. It's an enormous difference in standard between the two leagues.

To put this all in to perspective regarding Gerard being a good manager - Neil Lennon has won the Scottish Premier League 5 times. Was he ever good enough for top jobs elsewhere. In general the SPLF is an average league to win. Even Ronny Deila has won it twice -

Ronny Deila won more trophies in his first season at Celtic than the great Steven Gerrard has in 3 seasons. Deila still got the sack at Celtic the next season. Gerrard has some record 1 trophy out of 9 in a so called 2 horse race for every trophy in Scotland -
