I wasn't great at statistics in school, but is there a link between no shots on target and no goals scored. Devil

Lol.
I was thinking you can't be THAT terrible.
Must've meant GOALS.

22 Aug 2026: Away vs Brentford (lost 0-3) — 9 shots, 4 on target.
29 Aug 2026: Home vs Newcastle (lost 0-2) — 17 shots, 6 on target.
5 Sep 2026: Away vs Nottingham Forest (drew 0-0) — 12 shots, 0 on target.

Ok, I made an error posting that stat. Meant goals scored. Must beat Everton at the weekend or things will start to get ugly real quick. DeZerbi has had a full pre-season with most of these players but you'd never guess by the lack of cohesion we're seeing on the pitch. That point earned at the weekend end take them off the bottom of the table and should give everyone involved a huge lift. HappySilly

A win would lift us up the table and be a nice confidence boost for the lads, heaven only knows where the goals are going to come from though; January could be busy. 1 ray of sunshine was the clean sheet at Forest. Villa, Utd, Coventry and Chelsea on the horizon, who are also the final four games of the season. Don't worry Coventry... Dr Tottenham will soon be coming to the rescue.

Hopefully they can manage to score a goal today or is that too much to ask for. Confused. If Tel starts then I officially give up.

De Zerbi on Richarlison..

“What I have done at the beginning of this season has been to speak with him and to propose an extension of the contract. If he said, ‘no thank you,’ I finished my job.

“I said last press conference. The relationship between the player and the club is the problem..

“I stay within the club. It’s coach and club together. At the start of this season I spoke to him many times to convince him to stay and he didn’t want to. I can’t go every day to pray for him to stay.”

The Spursy mindset is something that can only ever be shifted with the kind of investment that happened at Man City.

However, that loophole of parachuting bucket loads of cash has been closed.

It's all about mindset imo. Players go there already knowing expectations are low & can just coast along to pick up their salary.

They know all they need to do is avoid the drop.

Gallagher scores midweek and today; there's a lesson there somewhere.

Two goals scored to get that monkey off our back. Something to build on I guess.

The goals are starting to flow. Next step is to actually win a league game and next chance to do is is like a month away. Baby steps.

It transpires we have had trouble with the right back position all season with poor young Archie having to spend his playing minutes there. And a lot of them as well

If only we had another decent right back who could also fill in at left back if necessary. You know someone who was good enough to play for England at the World Cup

Oh wait......

What a pile of dross running our football club

It sickens me
