We were better, but it appears we still need someone to put the ball in the net. Another hard season ahead.

Poor selection by DZ.Porro never a winger as long as he's got a hole in his Aristotle.
DZ hadn't done his homwork, Frank I think tried it with the same hopelss result.
Out of time to remove Gray and Bergvall who promise much but provide too litte.
Tel had a nightmare but truth be told it ain't any good, he only played because Savino had a bruised ego.
Very early days, another manager who's having to learn the hard way, but if he'd done some research
he wouldn't have put out that team.
DZ talks too much especially saying if they want to leave, they can.
We've now ended up in a pickle with Danso who seems to me to be encouraged by the mnanager's idiotic
words.
Forest next week doesn't seem too hopeful, supporters with long memories will remember an unbeaten pre season and
2 points after 8 games.

They don't look too bad to me.
Absolutely no danger of relegation but little chance of winning anything

NO decent player is coming to Spurs
Sp unking money on overrated, historically(and in all likelihood future)underperforming rejects
Levy's wallet is on display in the British Museum as an artefact that was never opened

absolutely pathetic..don't fall for the old BS..the side needs time to gel
it ain't happening
De Zerbi is not the answer

spend the money and expect overnight success - never happens. calm down - the blueprint is starting to develop, but like all things it takes time and spurs fans just need to be calm and before u know it, it will click. Rival fanswill mock, but thats because they're hoping it doesnt work out, because they're fearing it

They never learn. It takes 3 months to get a team of new signings really playing together and feeling comfortable with each other. A new manager with several new players is a recipe for disaster and the interview with De Zerbi on Saturday night did nothing to encourage me that he understands the scale of the problem. Just hearing that Saar is going along with Danso. Yet more regular starters leaving to be replaced by players who don't know anyone else in the side.

Ili is more of a winger emit, wish he was staying with the Toffees as he is genuinely a guy who gets you off your seat, end product as far as goalscoring is concerned still needs some work but he sets up plenty of chances,  any decent striker will score plenty of goals with him in the side.

Richarlison heading to Trabzonspor apparently. Bit of a scattergun approach to the transfer window and still short in some areas (striker, right back etc).

Ain't touching top 6 at those odds. Is it too much to expect them to score a goal and maybe even win a game of football? Nottingham Forest away up next. Plain

It's 12.4/4 on the exchange. I wouldn't back them to finish top half a that price.
By:

lurka,

You were similar on United last year, the new signings on their own will put them right there just like it did for United last year even with a shocking start and managerial change there was still plenty of time left, the two losses and potentially another tough game against Forest are reinforcing the Spursyness but there is plenty of time for the players to bed in and the quality to begin to take effect.

Spurs are 1.62 top half finish, they should be about 1.2 IMO

On the Exchange...

    8/1        Top 4
    9/2        Top 5
    3/1        Top 6

Currently not tempted, tbh.

Shocking start? Losing 0-1 at home to Arsenal while playing pretty well and 2 points off top 6 after 2 games. They fired their manager when they were in the top 6 too, which is highly unusual.

I don't get where the faith comes from. United added 3 goalscorers and scored 25 more goals and didn't lose anyone important. I don't see where the extra goals are coming from for Spurs and not sure they'll be better at the back either. Maybe wait until they play well and score.
By:

When: 04 Sep 26 16:57
Pool and Newc are also playing more winnable games before Forest v Spurs too so likely the price will be better before they play again.
By:
duffy
When: 04 Sep 26 17:36
Price changes after two three or four games are always out of sync with what the actual price should really be, Pool and Newc playing and perhaps winning affecting the price is akin to the lead changing after the first fence in the National and someone over-reacting at that point.

Villa didn't score a goal for five games last season never mind win, Liverpool won their first five.

The stigma attached to Spurs is overly affecting the price and the money they spent is exaggerating it.

I'd be quite happy for Spurs to get turned over at Forest and then be able to get some 4/1-9/2 top 6.

RDZ's  preoccupation with Tel and to some extent Bergvall and Gray(ironically survivors from last disasterous season)
will unless he lerns quickly will cost him his job.
I can't remeber who sanctioned the £30,000,000 price after a try out, whoever it was needs his cataracts removed.
We needed a number ten, we had one on the bench but he wasn't selected.
Social media was united in condemming Tel, funny how the fans can see it yet the manager can't.
Everton look winnable but we'll see if the manager has a death wish.
