an off night, too much mental pressure stopped players playing their best after half time
manager mis read game and made substituions that didnt work because they were wrong would have been brave to have hooked kane, but was probably what was needed.. |
By:

By:
players tried hard enough, but were drained....probably mental pressure
need to relax...that can be learnt ....hope they do |
By:
by heart i dont just mean kicking people.i mean having the knackers to keep going for it,sluggling it out, believing you can score more than them, believing in yourself
By:
it takes somebody to lift team back onto track
manager, captain, experienced pro... but we are very new to all this.. as above if its a lesson learnt for them then great |
By:
i have to say whether it was inexperience; naivety or just not quite up to the task tonite was our opportunity..not sure it will fall our way like that again...a real golden chance
just felt we lacked that little x factor..if only gazza in his pomp was around now...it would have made the difference thanks for the explanation donny |

Newcastle United have completed the signing of Kenedy on loan from Chelsea.
The Brazilian winger – who enjoyed a successful spell on loan at St. James’ Park last term – returns to the club until the end of the 2018/19 season. Kenedy is well-known to United supporters, having spent half of the 2017/18 season on Tyneside as Newcastle secured a top-ten finish under manager Rafa Benítez. He joined on loan in January, playing 13 times, scoring twice and winning the FUN88 player of the month award for March. "I HAVE RECEIVED MANY, MANY MESSAGES ON SOCIAL MEDIA FROM THE FANS. THEY MADE ME FEEL APPRECIATED, SO I WANTED TO COME HERE IN THIS NEW SEASON AND GIVE EVERYTHING ON THE PITCH." KENEDY The former Brazil Under-23 international becomes Newcastle’s third addition of the summer, following the permanent acquisitions of Martin Dúbravka and Ki Sung-yueng. He has joined up with the rest of the Magpies squad at the club's pre-season camp in Ireland and will train this morning |

morning top lads.dream over eh? naaah we have the 16s for bruno next week.happy days.
By:
Morning pointa.
The dream is over, was lovely whilst it lasted. No mention of anything permanent after Kenedy's loan spell is up, just as we expected. |
By:
aye nothing permanent, i wonder if thats cos rafa only has a year left?
kenedy will only have a year left at chelsea after this season so fcb might be looking at that too would be surprising, given that, if there wasnt some permenant intent somewhere |
By:
tiger i dont even think about sighings these days.to me its going to be the same every window.rafa must have the patience of a saint,or on a yarkin wedge.
By:
Rafa says he wants to stay for 5 or even 10 years. I very much doubt it though as the BFCB will never match Rafas ambition.
I was thinking the same donny, Rafa leaves in 12 months, Kenedy leaves in 12 months, probably followed by Lascelles and one or two others.................unless............. |
By:
You’re not deluded enough Pointa.

Anyone got the stats for shots on/off target for Englands 6 W/C games?
By:
http://www.skysports.com/football/news/12098/11431901/englands-world-cup-stats-compared-with-croatia
Stats before last nights match leazes. |
By:
you can get them off bbc website if you click on match reports
sadly not all sites agree, and usually the difference is they often dont count shots that are blocked within a few yards of being struck |
By:
it also annoys me that foul counts dont inclde fouls when ref plays on
having acknowledged the foul....hey ho |
By:

By:
