I’ve seen a bit of Madrid this season and they more often than not find something when needed mostly in this comp so I understand the press and pundits giving them the vote

I’m not sure Liverpool need to go all out from the whistle but they need a twenty minute spell where it all goes right where they create and score and score multiple goals

Then they can counter from that position as they inevitably drop a little deeper

I'll be rooting for the reds. The world doesn't need another Madrid trophy, sick of them, and they've been incredibly lucky in some of their matches.

Having said all that, I've been nibbling at the Ronnie to score prices all week. Thought I was doing well getting the nanny goat bonus price of 1.86.
Now I just saw it at 1.95 on here. Thats a helluva price imo. I'm all over that.

I think its almost as likely as BTTS here (and thats only 1.46) so thats the bet for me. Ronaldo to score anytime 1.95

Liverpool to win , going to be a rollercoaster though. Plenty of drama. I hope Firminho gets a late winner. Hes been some player this season.
I will back Van Dk, Lovren and Ramos to score 3 x singles at nice prices. One of them will score at least.

zizou will win his third eventually even if its not tonight, maybe with an english club, psg or juve but no question he gets it

Shanks was a bit too early for me, so my fondest memories relate to Bob Paisley who took Liverpool to a new level.

Still revered at Anfield where his name is still sung at games, Paisley was such a humble man even those his teams were crowned either European or English Champions every year from 1976 to 1983 and both in 1977.

Being European Champions or winning the league title has always been my yardstick of a good and successful season.

These days qualification for the champions league is a decent, so Liverpool have done ok so far this season. Winning a minor cup would be nice, as it was in the past, but without champions league qualification that still amounts to a poor season.

Madrid conceded 44 goals in la liga which is more than the likes of espanyol and getafe  i think , there is no doubt they are ponderous and weak defensively at times this season the mickeys [i have to admit have power and pace up front

Hope Liverpool win, don't think they will though. The Madrid team carry that total belief/confidence and seem to find goals no matter how crap they are playing.

Jordan Henderson to be shown a card for me looks a cracking bet, been booked in 3 of his last 4 CL games, as captain he'll feel he's got to be the leader and make tackles and this ref isn't afraid to flash the cards.
