An interesting alternative would be to start a new run of 15 with a new £10 each week. I would suggest picking different 1.5 selections though.

Actually, the 18th bet is no more likely to lose than the first or second. (Assuming the true odds are the same on each occasion.)
In the long run, the number of winning bets will be in line with the odds. So you could have three or four (or more) consecutive losing bets and a long run of consecutive winning bets bet over time you will have approximately 67% winners. |

that's like saying red or black is always 50/50 ...but to call in right 18 times on the trot is approx. 325,000/1

gibmark - yes, exactly! red/black IS always 50/50 - it's basic probability!
Think about it like this: your first bet on brass's system may be exactlt the same as someone else's except their's is their 18th bet. The probability of winning is the same for both of you! |
