Just get the 10 quid and turn it into 15 quid and then relax for a few days and then consider strike number 2. the first hurdle is always the most difficult but it is strange how the mind starts telling you that you can get through these 18 weeks once you get over the first week.it really is great fun and anyone who succeeds will need to have balls of steel /loads of discipline/patience/and plenty of luck/but someone will do it if they focus correctly and don't forget every winner will take you a step closer to the 15 grand and if you can gets the 1/2 price each week there are only 18 steps.
And remember you have loads of time(7 days) to consider options. |

I know I am a lazy sod brassneck, but if one started with 100 beans how many bets would it take to reach 15 bags of sand.

he could divide the beans into 10 x 10 and then in 18 weeks he just might get one 15 grand bag of sand,but as long as there is a few of the 10 beans going to their destination he has no need for the balls of steel because he has loads of back up should he lose one or two of the 10's
100 beans in one sack would net you 15 grand bag of sand in 12 weeks,but you would need the balls of steel.and no safety net. where as the 10 x10 bags of beans give you 10 chances over 18 weeks and less pressure. |

I m sure we have all tried these kind of systems before .....logically works well on paper , but like to say the dynamics change as the bet unfolds , i.e , we all can select a 1.5 bet for £10 stake without pressure , but when it gets to £100`s , pressure as you say kicks in , knowing the longer the bet goes on , the more likely we will get a loser ...so then sense kicks in , or as you say bottle goes .....but it sense really , we start to edge out bets , i.e put half on , not roll all of it ....so making the bet longer ...18 fold ...to 30 fold ...and theres the problem , we all get a loser after a while

you are correct gib,but let me run this by you.Lets say a guy has 10 x 10 chances(100 quid) at trying to get 15 grand.
this takes the sting of a loss because he 9 still going. if you end up with only two left valued @ 300 each you can run the second last one with a promise to yourself that you will withdraw the last man standing.or course you could always divide the last man standing into 30x10 and start again. BUT the chance of 15 grand for a tenner if you are brave enough is there. And with this system you have a big advantage of 7 days to find a winner. Most gamblers will place a bet and hope it wins,others will place a bet relying on luck ,but sometimes we all do a bet and we sort of know "this is a cert".The whole object of the exercise is to brain wash yourself into thinking" if I am really careful and I use my 7 days to find a sure fire certainty ,I have 7 more days to get the next one ,and most importantly there is #15,000 in 18 weeks time. 15 GRAND would give you a great Christmas ,picture it 15 thousand pounds in the back pocket and the snow falling and you saying to the girl of your dreams lets get a taxi and and do some shopping ,or at the other end of the stick you lose a lousy tenner. and even if you took shorter odds ......to find 10x10 selections in hard , even one bet a week as you suggest , do that 10 times a week as a hard ask

brassneck , ever watched tipping point ? ...you have £3000 in the bank , you can give that up for a chance to win star counter for £10,000 , .......just because you got the £3000 for nothing ......stupid gambling with that attitude , £3000 , is still £3000 ....so when you say its only a tenner , does wash , as soon as you win a few , it becomes real money

I know gib,you can spend the first week creeping the #10 up to #15 backing 1/20"s if you like,just make sure to focus on turning 10 quid into 15 and then worry about next week when it arrives,continue with you normal betting but keep the Christmas system separate.
remember you must focus because you are playing in a cup final on every bet and its you who is taking the penalty kick.(a lot of pressure) As I say its a bit of fun but the first prize is 15 grand.GIB"you know you can do it,go out there and show them all how good you are" |

remember this= the maths to turn 10 grand into 15 grand are exactly the same as turning 10 quid into 15,you can pick your own way of doing it but its only week 1 so just put 100% focus on turning 10 into 15,next week it will be turn 15 into 22.5 but just focus on the 10 into 15 next week will take care of itself when it arrives.lay something at a small price on betfair and back it back on the bookie coupon at a bigger price if you like,there are usually prices written up for Thursday on the coupons that don't change and get hammered down on betfair.but for the moment just make that fiver and then take a 7 day break.
