Suarez better than Neymar
Almost feel guilty taking money off such dunces. |
|
By:
as i said i don't even know if they've to power under FFP to do anything about it right now, but magically producing an extra €100m revenue in one season seems like pie in the sky to me. But we'll see

Just imagine how much Lord Bendtner must be worth.

Suarez isn't fit to lace Neymar's boots, there's not even a discussion to be had on the subject.
|
|
By:
Suarez is twice the player Neymar is, he's averaged 27.8 goals the last 5 seasons, Neymar 16.2

are you a man united fan duffy?

How did you guess
, however I am serious, Neymar is different gravy to Suarez. IMO |

Who wants Cavani ?
|
|
By:
could barca come in for mbappe, they have the money and ronnie doesnt want RM to sign him
|
|
By:
I'd have Suarez over Neymar too. But Neymar is worth a lot more due to age and merchandising
|
|
By:
Neymar is far better than Suarez, is there even a discussion, not sure what Im reading here?
Can I get a confirmed list of the people who say Suarez is the superior player please |
|
By:
Depends how you are defining better?
He is faster, probably has more tricks than him, but Suarez's movement in and around the box along with his goal ratio compared to Neymar then it's a non contest. |
|
By:
People who think Suarez is better than Neymar don't watch La Liga.. 2 years ago maybe but Neymar is way better these days. Suarez may have scored a few more Messi assisted goals but Neymar stands alone as the third best player in the world.
This isn't even a debate really. Disappointed he's gone to that muggy French league though. PSG will be like Bayern and get knocked out of the CL as soon as they come up against someone decent. |

5 year deal
over 500k per week AFTER tax The worlds gone mad. |

Neymar is over rated-He looked good in the Barca side because if was surrounded by exceptionally gifted forward players in Messi and Suarez. He will be offloaded to Utd next season who will need a replacement for Lukaku, the new Benticke

I always watch La Liga esp Barca games and agree with loanwolf. Not saying Neymar is not top drawer but would rather Suarez in my team.

5 year deal over 500k per week AFTER tax The worlds gone mad. Football world gone mad Hamster, I thought it had 5 years or more ago but it seems never ending and with numbers like this its beyond ridiculous now what clubs are will to spend on individuals and wages every week on top, its literally insane tbh esp when most professional clubs struggle away on shoestring budgets outside the top flights |

willing to spend soz

Suarez all day and twice on Sundays .

i also believe Barca put that buy out clause in, in the assumption that no one could break it.

hitmanhearn anyone else care to join put suarez ahead of neymar |

They are both forwards. Suarez is more direct and at the moment the better goal scorer.
In one respect it is fair play to Neymar as he seems to be fed up playing third fiddle and wants to become the main man at a big club And make no mistake PSG are a big club. And the French League 1 could be the one to watch for the future. Marseilles, Lyon, Nice, Lille and Monaco will serve up a fair challenge. Most of them have new stadia now and are looking at increased revenues themselves. I can see france challenging Italys Serie A the way things are going. PSG have looked very staid since Zlatan departed. Midfield is very functional. There will be a heavy reliance on Neymar to deliver. He was an absolute revelation at Corinthians as a kid, winning the copa libertadores and he was the standout player. With Brazil i have to say he has not come up to the standards of pele, zico, romario, the original ronaldo, etc. He has been their main man, the team built around him and he has won nothing. Neymar is the sort of player who turns it in when his team are losing. He is selfish at times, far happier trading on his celebrity earning soft free kicks with clear dives. Contrast that with the will to win of Messi, CR7 and Suarez. Neymar still has time on his side and this new Brazil coach Tite seems to have something about him so that could change. But at the moment I think Neymar has a lot to prove and a fair way to go to achieve the level of Suarez. |

that almost entirely nonsense, not just the factually incorrect info about corinthians or not winning anything with brazil but especailly his attitude when things get tough. his biggest strength as a player is his ability to lead on the field, he is the driving force behind almost everything brazil and recently barcelona do, the guy has been dragging the so called superstars around him over the line for the past season. remember when they came back to beat psg 6-1 in the greatest comeback in football history? who was it that stepped up to take on the free kick and ****g penalty to make it 4-1 and 5-1? it wasnt messi or jaws, theres no way you can say neymar doesnt have the bottle for a fight, messi and ronaldo have both wasted and ballooned pens when on the line |
|
By:
there was little pressure on the psg game pen, it was in extra time already and had neymar missed nobody would have been expecting the 6th goal after anyway, messi took all the pressure pens last season, dont think he missed one until the final game when it was basically all over anyway for la liga
neymars performances can vary greatly, he seems more of a confidence player, some games he almost goes to pieces if things dont go right from the start and then he can have a game like the psg one, having a player like messi is double edged for him and he'll probably benefit from not having that pressure |

he actually has a better record in penalty shoot outs than penaldo and a better spot kick record than neymar at barca (despite neymar often talking pens when barca were well in front to boost his confidence) dont let the facts get in the way of your emotional response though clach

La Liga rejects buy-out clause payment
...this could get messy ![]() |

^^^^^brown envelope time...no worries

La Liga thinking they have jurisdiction over this is ridiculous. The FFP deadline for this year has already passed (17 June) so PSG's next inspection won't be until next year

By:
you'd have thought Barca want it to happen at this stage, they hard;y want him back? But La Liga trying to protect the power of its big two clubs? Surely they're not going against Barca's wishes here?

Most over 35s think the move a downgrade. For most under 35s it's not so black and white.
This is the age of money. Money is king. The top Chinese clubs can outbid most western teams. Watford, Bournemouth and wba, etc can out muscle porto, benfica, etc. The ex manager of cska squats at his mate's place(Roman)for almost a year and is grateful to get the hull job at the end of it. Players and agents are putas willing to open their legs to the highest bidder(well most of them). The biggest pimps come from a pariah state. |

wonder how the 1.01 backing mugs are feeling right now
|
|
By:
UEFA will just tell La Liga they can't block it and that will be that imho
|
|
By:
apparently la liga have no legal foundation to block, if barca can get coutinho + mbappe for neymar + £50m i think they will be happy, madrid do not want to lose mbappe to their main rivals though (despite ronnie saying he doesnt want him at madrid)...
