the money appearing on both sides was probably cross matching but even so it was huge sums in a market that was saying go the total opposite direction

yes, definitely cross matching.

ive always seen big money sitting unmatched in markets thats never in danger of being matched, thats something totally different to what i saw tonight, these people were trying to get bets on.

ive been on betfair since 2004 and have never taken it seriously before this past week, as i said earlier i do a lot of automation using betangel and feel like i need to branch out into other markets from where i am just now or at least explore the options.  one thing that is possible is placing bets based on certain conditions, such as total matched, vwap, pending bets and whatever.

if in the long run it makes more sense to go against the big money, match them or follow them on another market (ie big bets on over2.5 so back over 1.5) ill eventually automate it.  if theres no edge to be had then ill have wasted some time, which im prone to do anyway.

suspected for months some LA LIGA GAMES ??   .. SO BAD GOALS LOST BY KEEPERS .. ?
Other divisions as well lumps on via a 3rd party .. for helping to run some smaller clubs ..
What you can bet on .. has got all out of hand .. ? need to go back to minimum at least double or treble bets to get on LARGE  ..
Minimum  and Maximum    ..both similar .  narrows it down and not enough for big players ?? WhoopsWhoopsWhoopsstake say mere 1  hundred .... euros . or QUID  ?

PLAYING OUT FROM BACK GOALIE AND ONE DEFENDER CAN CHANGE THE GAME UNBELIEVABLE ..
No question  ..?           its very IFFY  .. ??
WORSE still as a fan  ..  you can only shake your head ... but as has been said its there for us as well ..
THERE IS AN ITS  ..............on sign ..         Whoops       as a watcher of game .. and think you must be watching 100 percent .  Acting accordingly  ...
will try it till end of season ..   as a bet in the drawer. ....... as I call it  ..... Fictitional ..... payout if it wins ..  IF GAMES STRAIGHT .. WILL BE FULL OF MONEY IN THE SAID DRAWER FOR YOUR   CRUISE  IN SUMMER ..  Again its only once some things are settled at this time of the season ..and points in bag for the team giving it away .. Whoops.........

Too true jim, well said, doesnt take a genius to come up with a fix and no level of player is above it.

Back in my bookies days I took bets on a Premiership fix and there wasnt a peep on the news, in the racing post, from the FA etc.

First goalscorer in Bolton v Newcastle about 8/9 years ago, lad shows up wanting fortunes on Elmander or Kevin Davies even though hes never seen a betting slip i n his life.

Called the companies security department and they tell me theyve taken huge sums on it elsewhere and are happy to take more.  Kevin Nolans first game back at Bolton after transfering to Newcastle, ball bobbling around in the area s nd out of nowhere he shoves his arm out for a handball.  Pen and Bolton score, bets win.

The alarms rang in the 18th minute when both Jose Enrique and Coloccini failed to clear under pressure from Lee in the left-corner before the ball fell to Bolton old-boy Nolan who handled in his attempt to ease the pressure. There were no complaints from the Magpies skipper.

2 bets I've had so far today:

layed u1.5 in Malmo @ 5.2, which won quite easy.

then layed u3.5 in Hellas Verona at score 1-2, odds 2.72. the match stuck out for some reason, probably because it was a team right at the top losing at home to a team near the bottom. got my goal near the end, around 88 mins to make it 2-2

then I saw it on 90+4 and the draw trading @ 1.04/1.05 with a big lump trying to back the draw @ 1.05
then I saw it went 3-2 at the end, so I checked the markets

draw matched down to 1.03, Verona backed as high as 110.

Italy D2: FT    Hellas Verona 3-2 (1-1) Vicenza Calcio [under 4.5 1.04, draw 1.03, Verona 110]

Was a bit manic by the end of that Verona goal and a v.sweet strike for the win.  Couldnt have called it.

Ive got a couple of 0-0s running just now, ACS Poli Timisoara, Sligo Rovers + Slavia Sophia.  Havent even looked at anything else, wont until I've had my tea

I did smell the possibility in Verona, but didn't fully believe in it, and when they leave it so late you really have to invest in the idea of it happening. would have had to have layed the u4.5 @ 1.05 when I made my lay on the u3.5 and waited, hoping to get matched. not sure if I'd have been matched before 2-2, so would have then had my lay up waiting to get matched and it might have matched on 94 mins about 20 seconds before the goal
By:
wisewords
When: 01 May 17 16:11
sorry, it would* have matched for sure 20 seconds before the goal, but I'd be investing in the idea that Verona were gonna score right at the very end in the final 15 seconds.

always good value backing 0-0 in no replay cup matches because the price often forgets to factor in the possibility of extra time
