If he meant it in a harmful way to demean a woman, he's a bully. If he meant it in jest then he's a coward for not defending his position (because he later apologised).

Much ado about nothing
The peep on here attacking Moyes must live in a bubble.

It's just a cheap jibe to try and protect his image for the future to not face any questions questioning his position.

Moyes is all about his own image, he is known for dining out journalists feeding them information in exchange for good press. Here he wasn't happy at someone asking some tough questions, and was trying to intimidate them into asking softer questions in the future.

n88uk every single manager in the country has at least 1 media contact who they favour with exclusives and etc so why highlight Moyes.

Listen to it again. Its not only banter, its flirtatious banter.

Because why do you think Moyes is so protected in the first place. Moyes is rock bottom yet you barely see any coverage saying Moyes has to go. The media had sacked Guidolin and appointed Giggs long before Guidolin sacked, and he was doing a better job than Moyes was, and that's just one of many examples.

I think you're doing it wrong Plat if you think that's flirting.

Wan shum bucky hen?

Thought that was the classic Weegie chat up line. Maybe you're right, maybe  we should be giving Moyes credit for being so chivalrous. Laugh

At least Lineker's hostility means we won't have to endure Moyes on MOtD when he is sacked . Expect he has a veto on who sits on the sofa.
